Not serious, not professional, avoid az rent if you don't want to waste time and money.
I was given a car that has at least 20-25 years, 385.000 km (maybe 1.385.000, who knows), a very old kia (4-5 models ago). I booked for pickup the car at the Baku Airport at 0800 but the car was not there (in the reservation is written that the car should be there at 0800), instead they took me to baku center (1 hour traffic, the morning i was already in baku center and at 0700 i took a taxi to go to airport to take the car at 0800, if they should tell me that they were not able to give me it at the airport i could avoid to go to airport and then return back to baku).
At the end I was able to leave only at 0930 (and then i was obliged to spend other 40 minutes to exit from Baku), it's a shame, this is not serious, this is not professional. The car is so old that in the hills it goes so slow that trucks overtake me (i've got some videos, it cannot go faster than 10km per hour uphill). The steering wheel must be turned at 15 degrees to the right to be able to go straight, the brakes are hard to push, this is very very dangerous. How is it possible?
The car with full tank goes for only 350 km (only 1 person, no baggages), this because the engine is very, very old.
Absolutely avoid AZ rent, the worst rental car company, not serious, not professional, not fair, not correct.
