Hello I am Katherine, a Paediatric Nurse, Health Visitor, Maternal Wellbeing Practitioner, Infant Massage Instructor and Mummy of two. I support parents and babies in their first steps together with courses and events in my beautiful Studio in the woods in Hampshire, in your home or online. I have been in the NHS 30 years and established Baby Steps in 2006. I offer courses in Baby & Child First Aid, Weaning, 5 week Baby Massage & Relaxation and 6 week Soul-Full MAMA. The Studio is in private grounds (GU26 6DG) with easy parking and home comforts. A warm welcome awaits. Or I look forward to coming to your home or supporting on online. Myself and my baby have thoroughly enjoyed Katherine’s baby massage course. Katherine is incredible at sharing her knowledge and making us mums feel so welcome and relaxed. If you don’t do Katherine’s courses for your baby, do them for yourself! Already booked onto a couple more things with Katherine.

I absolutely loved the massage course that Katherine ran. The classes were so well structured and Katherine had thought of everything to make it a lovely calming environment not only for the babies but for the parents too. I felt so well supported in many ways and learning how to do baby massage was such a bonus. My baby loves it and it helps so much with digestion and creating a lovely calming environment. It was the best baby class I’ve done and what we looked forward to most each week!

I've been here twice during this pregnancy. I am struggling with terrible anxiety after suffering two previous miscarriages but Gail has been absolutely amazing with me. She has made more of an effort to comfort me and calm my worries than anyone else I've been to, private or NHS. She took extra time (noone was waiting in the waiting room) to give me advice on what to do to help with the physical pains that have exacerbated my anxiety and even gave me a much needed cuddle. I am very grateful for the experiences so far and could not recommend enough.
I so enjoyed the Soul-Full Mama course with Katherine. A beautiful relaxing and restorative start to each week - a must for any mum and the perfect time to pause and reflect plus make friends and bond with your little ones.

We had Katherine hold both a first aid class and a weaning class for our NCT group. Both were absolutely excellent. She hosted them at her lovely studio. She is knowledgeable, practical and very helpful. Her background as a paediatric nurse gave us peace of mind that she knew exactly what she was talking about. Really grateful for her insight and support, very useful classes and highly recommend.

Such a lovely morning at the mum and baby retreat . Katherine has a lovely cabin which oozes calm. It was lovely to be with other mums and babies and I left feeling refreshed and full of love

Katherine created an amazing atmosphere for both myself and my baby. We enjoyed coming back every week! I have not only learned all the basics of baby massage but also connected with other lovely mums that I’m still in contact with after the course. Very much recommend the course!
