I have been satisfied with this yoghurt for some years, but all of the sudden the quality of the product is much poorer. For weeks I have tried different sorts of milk, but the yoghurt won´t thicken at all. Has someone else experienced the same?

Great starter. Great Bulgarian yogurt.

Orders arrived quickly and the PDF instructions were perfect. This yogurt sets WAY faster than if using grocery store yogurt as starter.

The worst customer service experience from this seller Bacillus Bulgaricus!
Not only did I have to reply to numerous emails since the seller is dodging my questions and blatantly denying what has happened. I received my products smelling like heaps of incense. Now for a food item this is not okay.
Apart from that one of the products is already expiring at the end of this year not the promised two years. I bought a big bag. That's not okay either! Worst was the unprofessional attitude and lacking any courtesy in resolving this issue.
For the item to be exchanged they asked me to pay for shipping in order to swap the stinky items. This is absurd!
Buy elsewhere! There's better sellers and products out there. Save your money!

I was a bit skeptical that the dried culture would work, but it did. Bought filmjolk, caspium sea and bulgarian. The latter went off but I realised later it was not mesophilic, so my own fault. You can buy small samples reasonable for about £3. Noticed that theyre no longer on Amazon and wondered what this was about. I previously tried dried sample from Freshly Fermented a few times and none ever worked, yet they seem to have a higher profile. They did provide a fresh viili that was fine though.
