It takes a truly terrible or truly exceptional experience for me to be the kind of person that leaves reviews. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had. We purchased an iphone through backmarket. 6 weeks in the screen completely froze. No trouble shooting would fix it. We explained the problem and sent was told to send it in for repairs. Repairs took two and half weeks and then was sent back still broken. Have had to buy a new phone now and called them asking for a refund. Spoke to an utterly inhuman customer service person who just kept repeating we are out of the refund time period. Abysmal company, whose entire value proposition is based on the need for people to trust they can buy second hand phones. Will absolutely never buy from them again.

Great condition and works well saved nearly £200 buying refurbished.

I never expected that, as a long-time customer, I would have to write a review like this, but unfortunately I do.

I don't understand the point of buying any refurbished phone from this website anymore. The prices are completely unreasonable. In some cases, a used, damaged, and refurbished phone costs even more than a brand-new one.

On top of that, refurbished phones usually lose their water resistance after being repaired, and after a few months of use they often start developing problems, such as the screen randomly going black or the phone becoming unstable.

This company used to offer competitive prices, but now it feels like they're charging far more than these devices are worth. I can't recommend buying refurbished phones from them anymore. Avoid.

My old laptop had become very slow, was a good few years old, it also had developed a cracked screen so it was time to replace it, as I was tutoring over the Summer holidays in addition to teaching work. As the World Cup was on at the time I thought about Lenovo brand ( sponsors) and there were a number of Lenovo laptops to choose from. I just needed one that was fast enough to teach online rather than a gaming laptop. This one arrived in perfect condition (condition label had been labelled as ‘excellent’) and its worked well so far.
It saved me money to buy refurbished but it’s just as good as new - thankyou Back market

Payed insurance. Phone got stolen. Was told my £39 insurance didnt cover stolen phones. Ridiculous.

10/10 would absolutely use back market and the damage covering team they use!

My phone originally arrived safely with no damage, but I found that I was having some problems that appeared to be software related. I was a bit concerned, so I contacted the support team and was given a very prompt response with returning the phone for it to be fixed. It was sent off, fixed the day it arrived and had next day delivery! My problem was fixed so quickly, and every single person I spoke to was incredibly clear and helpful with their communication.

I have never bought from back market before, but would recommend it to anyone else! because even if you have a problem, they will be very helpful and fix it right away! :)

I bought phone with excellent condition but they sent me phone with scratches. That's why not satisfied.

The phone I bought only lasted a couple of days. A replacement was sent our quickly, but because the screen was broken on the original the experience of trying to return it was problematic. It wasn't so much the fact it got returned to me again to fully log out but I was away holiday and as they only allow 4 days to re-return it I kept receiving threats to charge me again for the phone. Overall just not a pleasant buying experience.
