I paid for an Australian iPhone but…

I paid for an Australian iPhone but received a disguised Chinese model. I wasted hours trying to transfer data from my old iPhone, which failed multiple times because the Chinese version does not support eSIM. There is no error message and the phone number just won't work; it takes research on Internet forums to figure out why the eSIM transfer is failing.

After arranging the return, the Back Market operator offered sympathy but zero compensation for half a day of lost time. Their only solution was to refund or replace the phone. Burning half a day due to their error, with no acknowledgement of my time's value, suggests they consider it worthless—their mistake, my day wasted.

The phone I received was a piece of…

The phone I received was a piece of sh*t...
Paid for a premium device and was sold an absolute donkey. Battery performance was meant to be upgraded but this has been a major failure point.
Getting this refunded has been a major issue. Still in limbo.

Had to buy another phone in order to return the dodgy phone.

Unfortunate First Purchase

My first time purchasing a refurbished phone. I purchased the Samsung S23 Ultra and delivery fairly quick. The condition of the phone was pretty good however before I got top set up the phone I noticed the back cover was loose on one side. I had a closer look and the whole back cover was about to come off. Since I had already purchased accessories I asked if the supplier could find a similar replacement but they decided for a refund even though I could see they had stock of other similar models at the time. The communication was from Back Market was good and I believe they are trustful though. Just an unfortunate first experience.

Decent Experience

Our experience was pleasant. Package delivery time was fluctuating a bit but it arrived fairly quickly. Unboxing was very nice and presenting. The device, an Apple Watch Series 9, arrived in a condition that I would say would probably be closer to “Fair” condition although I ordered “Good”. The actual device has been performing well; with all problems eventually resolved. The performance was great, with no problems at all.
I’d probably give this a 3.5 if I could.
