I was unable to book the time I wanted for my TSS Earnslaw cruise in Queenstown next month on the web site. I entered an online chat with Chloe who was efficient and helpful in helping me make my reservation.

So surprised to get a real person straight away on line, late at night, not just any person but someone local who knew all the details of the trips we were interested in, the accom options, and who was super friendly and efficient in customising our tours and bundle - cannot recommend Jessye highly enough - she was outstanding!

I booked a 1N 2 day Fraser Island tour through Backpackers. Less than 24 hours before collection it was cancelled by the company due to insufficient numbers. I requested a full refund but was told due to the T&Cs I’d agreed to at the time of booking I was only entitled to a credit voucher to use with the company. This was absolutely incorrect. It clearly stated on my booking confirmation, ‘if tours cannot go ahead you will be entitled to a 100% refund’. After 6 weeks of fighting, I finally received by full refund. I would not recommend booking anything with this company.

Chloe is super helpful, using email, WhatsApp and calls to help aid communication & sorted my whole 4 week itinerary for me. She had insider knowledge and considered things I wouldn't have. I'm very grateful!

Our skydiving got cancelled because of the bad weather and we tried rescheduling three times and it still didn’t work. Margaret helped us get 100% of the refund back to our account which we were so happy about!! So good service!
