Despite the pouring rain, we loved it!!
Despite the pouring rain, we had a great time! Thanks for the much needed tents. Honestly, they saved the event. The performers were so good with amazing voices. Can't wait to do this again. My only suggestion is to maybe have an additional food option like a food truck. The food was good but took a very long time. Just a thought. Thanks again for a fun night.
I attended at a wonderful venue in Colton, OR
I attended at a wonderful venue, Fir Valley Pour House in Colton, OR. The food was great and the servers delivered food and drink all night with smiles. The outdoor seating was also wonderful as the weather was perfect.
My only complaint is that we only had one artist from Nashville. Sawyer was great! Exactly what I expected!
The other artist was local and had never even been to Nashville. He was not nearly at the level of performance as Sawyer. If you advertise 2-3 up and coming artists from Nashville, you need to supply them. Sawyer saved the show.
Absolutely nothing against the venue
Absolutely nothing against the venue - that was amazing and we love spending time here.
However, the bar ran out of whiskey for the signature drink. We were the last to leave which was at 9:05 when it went till 10. We believed this would be a night for dancing socializing with great music but we had to sit outside the venue in order to have any conversation as no one spoke during the music it was definitely more formal than we believed it was going to be for the price we paid.

We attended the event last night at Thatcher Farms! The venue is excellent for this type of event. Great Mexican food truck and the staff was very nice!! The artists, Ashton Butler and Noah Kesselman, were both great! Highly recommend and would definitely do this again! Thanks Scotty for organizing these opportunities for Nashville artists to share their talents!
A super chill and well-organized night…
A super chill and well-organized night with insanely talented musicians in beautiful, intimate settings. From lush farm vibes to cozy venues, every set felt personal and engaging. Loved hearing the artists’ stories and even some on-the-spot collaborations. Only wish the events were longer (and maybe with a bit more variety in song themes), but overall such a great experience that left us wanting more.

The singer was amazing and I feel could definitely fill a larger venue

We attended an event at the ridge in St. Albert. The artists were great however the venue needed to up their game a bit.
The event was advertised as a listening room, blue bird cafe style however no one introduced it and everyone in the place just talked through the whole performance.
They only had one bartender on so the wait was long for drinks. They were understaffed for wait staff. We waited over an hour just to get food orders. It was great to have an event like this at a local establishment however a bit more planning would have made for a better experience.
Great idea, poor execution
We were super excited to attend this event. Idea sounded do interesting. Venue was not great for an intimate gathering. Poor set up and unfortunately staff were very overwhelmed. Thought we were going to hear artists from Nashville. One artist was good. Although he could have done more storytelling. Other artist was local that we could have heard anywhere around town. Sound overall was not great. Most patrons would not have been able to even see the performers.
Great experience
Great experience. Intimate setting, and talented artists.
One more breakup song
The music was good but I'm not sure 1.5 hours of breakup songs fit the bill for entertainment on a firday night ? The artists were interactive with audience which helped ease the pain. . Thankyou for everything else and the opportunity to listen to your journey
This event was fantastic
This event was fantastic. Beautiful farm on a summer evening. The 2 musicians were so talented and kind in sharing their stories of songwriting! They were new to each other and they did a great job of instant collaboration! I wish there was more advising of the event, as they traveled far and hope they felt supported by our community!

Enjoyed the ability to hear the performers story - where they’ve been, why they write songs etc. The music was excellent and the small venue made for a fun evening.

The venue on the farm was so picturesque. The setting was intimate and personable. The quality of the musicians was great. I look forward to more events like this in the future. Thank you so much for providing such a great experience.
Great music, poor showing…
The musician on the night was great and talented! Sadly maybe the event wasn’t advertised enough, so there were very few people, which didn’t make a great atmosphere. Felt bad for him.
Great concept but poorly executed
I felt terrible for the outstanding musician from Nashville who played at the Blacksteer Steakhouse in Bend, OR on July 25th. The event was poorly advertised and there were only about 10 people attending the set we joined for.
To make matters worse, the bar and restaurant were in a separate room and there was no effort, signage or announcements by the staff to move customers into the area where the musician was set up.
The location is also terrible which I'm sure contributed to the low turnout.
I highly recommend Backyard Music look for a new venue to host these events in Bend as it is such a great idea and could be really successful in this rapidly growing town. Hawkeye and Huckleberry Lounge would actually be an amazing venue. It's a very popular place, is centrally located, has a country theme and has a stage set up for live music.
Well worth the money…fantastic experience.
Well organized event that was intimate and enjoyable. Great artists were chosen that were local but also super talented. Only wish was that the event could have lasted longer as it was such a pleasurable evening with great music set in the backdrop of a lush working farm…truly was Nashville at the farm!
This was such a fantastic experience!
This was such a fantastic experience!
I came across this the day of the show and bought tickets. At the time they were $35 each and the information on who would be at the show wasn’t listed but we thought it sounded cool so we decided to give it a shot. It was so good ! The two artists we had were fantastic ! If this comes back I’m definitely going again !
Enjoyed the intimate outdoor show
Enjoyed the intimate outdoor show. Great setting on the farm and the artists provided some excellent talent and enjoyed them. Acoustic can be difficult to really capture the song as recorded and yet they did a great job. Their voices and song writing is going to bring them much success in the future. Would love to see them with some added band members as well. Their stories, talent and personalities make for an evening that i am glad i attended. Looking forward to another evening like this again.
Overall an enjoyable evening
Overall an enjoyable evening! Jade Hilton and Sean Costello were entertaining and had great voices. Loved the casual vibe of the venue, the lineup, and the artists. The stories told were fun and sometimes sad. Thank you for a great time.
A place worth patronizing!
I’m really impressed with the efforts of the new owners. The Rogue is a gem!
