Having a really rubbish day in Paris after the Louvre cancelled our booked visit to see Mona Lisa on our last day of our holiday, so went back to this lovely shop and treated us to 4 crepes with 2 scoops of ice cream each absolutely delicious thanks guys

The setting was cute and the ice cream was good, but one tasted like smiggle pencils. We were also witnesses of a robbery of the store but overall would return .

I visited Badiani twice in one week and both times they had run out of cones. Seriously? I’m from Italy, I know gelato, and I have never seen a gelato place run out of cones — not even during the busiest holidays.

As for the gelato itself, it’s painfully average at best. Nothing to justify the hype or the price. It’s dressed up like it’s something special, but really, it’s the kind of quality you’d expect from a supermarket tub.

Badiani is a huge letdown. If you’re after real gelato, skip this place entirely. Not worth your time or money.

Amazing experience. The best gelato I ever had

While their food is amazing, avoid buying anything online. All phone numbers for branches are fake, there is no way of contacting them, apart from going there in person. I ordered 3 cakes on a Friday for Saturday delivery, no contact was made from the shop to inform me they have cancelled my order because they had no cakes. I had to visit the shop in person and they told me they informed the head office that they have cancelled the order and I would get a refund. Since I still didn't get refund by Wednesday, I called head office and they told me they had nothing to do with it and I had to email their info email, which somehow reaches the branch. I have only received a refund a week later after causing a massive fuss, so would not recommend. Absolutely amazing gelato cakes in person though.

Hampstead Heath branch:Ice cream tasted great, though expensive. Level of music in the shop was overwhelming- could hardly hear what the kind assistant was saying and this was at 10pm.

Badiana White city - to be honest I am very much fond of Pistachio gelato croissant. I had so many times. Always it has pistachio nuts drizzled over the gelato croissant as a dressing.

But this time pistachio nut was not drizzled and even showing previous pic to the staff they were like so adamant it is like this only.

I am highly disappointed with this bad service.

Secondly,the croissant which they served was not at all fresh at all.

We always go to Badiani at Westfields, White City for afternoon tea. The carrot cakes and salted caramel cakes are our favourites. The staff team are always nice, deliver high standard services with big smiles. The lattes, coffee are so good quality and we really enjoy.

I ordered twice online - first time it didn’t arrive on the day it had to, nobody wrote me, even though I emailed customer support (they don’t have phone number). After I claimed the money from PayPal Badiani contacted me, apologised and offered a nice discount, so I made a one more order. Guess what. :) My order didn’t arrive and now they ignore my emails and PayPal communication. I still haven’t received my second refund,

I visited the Canary Wharf branch and when the lady handed over my ice cream there was shards of metal on it. I thinks this was from scraping the metal scoop across the sides of the metal tin.

Not only my order never got delivered (while the payment went through), I tried calling, I sent emails and did not receive any answer. This is absolutely unacceptable that not only you accept payment and don’t deliver, you also ignored any attempt to contact you re status of the order and refund.

Best Ice Cream in Covent Garden! Prob one of the best in the world. Pistachio and La dolce vita flavours are my favourites….Massive shout out to Daniela at the Covent Garden branch, 5 stars customer service and very polite and nice person! If you’re in Covent Garden do not hesitate and try one of those flavours! Thiago

I found Badiani’s in Covent Garden, and I am now a regular customer, the staff are really friendly and welcoming, such as Carmen. The ice cream selection is good and the location is very good and the overall aesthetic of the shop is amazing.

Ice cream (not sure it can be called gelato) was very average. Mostly tasted of very sweet cream, but not even that smooth.
Service was absolutely terrible (Mercato Wood Wharf). Wish I saw the reviews about the service before going there.

I had ordered the pistachio gelato cake for my girlfriends birthday to arrive the day before. When the package arrived I was at home and received it from the courier by hand. On opening the cake was completely ruined, the protective packaging it was kept in was damaged and the cake was poking through it and the wool protective covered was mixed with the cake making it inedible. They didn’t bother to label the package as fragile or to show which way was up on the box so the courier could be more careful, so the courier could really be blamed. The worst part was the customer service, just nothing. I had left messages and called many times but no one would pick up or respond to messages. Only after opening a dispute with my bank did they get in touch to ask for proof of damage.

Placed an order for a member of my team as we were having an ice-cream social virtual event. everyone received it (ordered from other suppliers) but this supplier, though confirmed the order, and the following morning confirmed the order is being picked, ice cream was never delivered and there is no way to contact them and ask any questions, and there is no information on the refund. Worst of all they spoiled our team event!!. NEVER AGAIN!!

Got really tempted to try their delivery service when I received a flyer in my Nonna Tonda. Only to go to the website and find that there’s only one flavour (chocolate) available in their shop? Not much to brag about. I was hoping to stock my fridge for the summer but won’t be ordering with such a small selection available for out of London delivery.

I went walking with my friend and out of the blue, we were found us into this stunning place, so being into a Charlie and the chocolate factory movie, same positive vibes. Italian gelato one of the best in London, thank you to the guy was in that night , he made me appreciate that evening .
