Be very careful doing business with BAF Motorsport.

Our experience highlights a consistent lack of accountability and a concerning willingness to shift blame onto suppliers when their own internal issues cause projects to stall.

Work was delivered fully in line with the agreed scope and formally approved by their team at the time. Those approvals were provided by staff who subsequently left the business. It is not reasonable for a supplier to be held accountable when a new decision-maker, in this case the CEO, later decides they no longer agree with what had already been signed off. Despite this change in direction, we still acted in good faith and agreed to support revisions to help move the project forward.

The final stage of the project required actions from BAF Motorsport that were clearly outside of our remit. Despite this, we went well beyond what was required, offering guidance, arranging support calls, and even scheduling two calls over the Christmas period to help them push things over the line. They attended neither.

In our final call in early January, when reviewing the completed work together, it was clearly acknowledged on their side that everything required from us had been delivered. The decision not to proceed came from BAF Motorsport themselves, who stated that fixing the remaining internal elements and re-uploading content was not worth their time.

Despite this, over two months later, at 6pm on a Friday in March, they have chosen to publish a one-star review suggesting non-delivery. The timing and content make it difficult to view this as anything other than a reactionary attempt to deflect from their own decision to halt the project.

Their approach to payment follows the same pattern. Terms were clearly defined and tied to milestones, all of which were met. Yet they now attempt to reframe this simply because their own lack of follow-through prevented completion.

This reflects a broader pattern of poor internal management, missed commitments, and a readiness to create negative publicity for suppliers to deflect from their own failings.

If you are considering working with BAF Motorsport, understand that when things go wrong on their side, you may be the one held publicly responsible.

Working with BAF Motorsport is not a commercial risk, it is a reputational liability.

I almost never leave reviews, but my experience with BAF Motorsport was so shockingly bad that I feel obligated to warn others.

I booked my car in for 9:00am on a Tuesday to have quad exhaust tips installed and a resonator/OPF delete done. I arrived on time, only to be met with attitude right from the start. Immediately they told me they couldn’t work on my car until 2:00pm — something they could’ve easily mentioned when setting the appointment.

I came back at 2:00pm, and then I was told they didn’t even have the equipment or capability to code out the OPF fault that would appear after removal… again, something that absolutely should have been communicated beforehand. They then said the exhaust tips would be finished by 4:30pm.

I returned at 4:30 to find the car still not done. At 5:10, they finally finished, but the work was completely unacceptable. The exhaust tips were touching my diffuser, rattling at idle, and weren’t aligned properly. They told me to come back the following week so they could “sort it.”

Fast-forward to the next week: I return, they start working on the car… and about an hour later I hear smashing and shouting from downstairs. When I went to see what was going on, I found my exhaust tips off the car and the technician literally smashing them while shouting things like “I’m not doing this sh*t” and “I can’t f**king do this.”

I was honestly lost for words.

He then told me to leave — even though my car now had no exhaust tips at all, and the situation was worse than when I arrived. My original tips had been thrown away the previous week and the tips they had installed were now smashed in and damaged beyond use. I told him he needed to sort it out, but he refused and continued telling me to leave. My car is now left with no exhaust tips at all, terrible.

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company in my life. I’m absolutely appalled — especially considering I drove 1 hour 30 minutes each way. They wasted my time, my fuel, and my money, and left my car in worse condition than before.

Absolutely disgusting experience from start to finish.

Absolutely brilliant service told Chris what I wanted and the next day I got a date sent my car down went to collect my car and Honestly I was so impressed with the quality of the service and work, friendly and professional

I was recommended to visit BAF Motorsport by a friend, and I’m so glad I did! I had a BackBox mod done on my M340i, and the results are absolutely incredible — the car sounds and performs better than ever.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. Dave is a true professional who clearly knows his craft inside out — his attention to detail and passion for what he does really shine through.

One of the coolest things about BAF Motorsport is their waiting room, which actually has weights up to 50kg — so you can literally get a workout in while your car is being transformed!

I couldn’t recommend BAF Motorsport enough — if you’re looking for quality, expertise, and a great all-round experience, this is the place to go.

Avoid using this company for downpipes absolutely waste of time, lies after lies promising to deliver 4 times and never did. Customer service completely rubbish. JUST AVOID. Look for serious companies and not those clowns.

On top of the fact that this is the best rear strut brace on the market the customer service is top notch:) Nice to speak to a human not some Ai:( I asked for a company logo sticker and was delivered a load of company merch as a gift. Highly recommend this company

I recently purchased a K-BRACE for my Scirocco from BAF and felt thr need to praise the company for the help and support I had through the sale and aftersale. I knew of the company through various sites connected with the car modification scene and promised myself one one day. I knew these were made to order and accepted the fact that I was in for a wait whilst it was built up and powder coated no problem there the brace arrived and looks so impressive the fitting kit is in almost like a presentation box with some branded merchandise as well (nice touch) the time arrived of the fit up moat of the rear trim and seats were removed in order to get the bar in and bolted down but I couldn't see a way of it fitting several calls and photos later Chris @ BAF offered to fit it for me if I could get to him on a Saturday a I jumped in my car 206ish miles later I arrived at the workshop I was greeted by Chris and his co worker (sorry forgot your name) and job done he made it look so easy which it is of you don't overthink it in less than an hour I was on my way south with the brace fitted and a smile on my face. These guys are great,they care about the product and it shows it works the car feels more planted it's reduced creaks and rattles in my car which is a huge bonus it also gave me somewhere to secure my subwoofer enclosure to. Happy days. If you're in the market for this kind of upgrade I would happily recommend these guys without a doubt.

I ordered a strut brace for my 1994 volvo 850glt wagon and it does not fit ive cntacted them 3/4 times today and they are not getting back to me whats wrong with them , was told everything will be fine and its not just want my money back now.

Top lads. Had a back box mod on my Civic, and despite some seized bolts and rust they preserved. Took my Mk9 Civic from silent and boring to sounding great! Not too loud but exactly what I was after. Very friendly, accommodating and all around a great service. I'll be in touch for exhaust mods on my other car and will look at K braces in the future! Thanks again, highly recommend 👌

The part is very good. Nice colour in red but i must wait over 8weeks. But this was ok.

These guys are the Business, they fitted a K-Brace to my 2016 Polo GTI this morning and it looks great! Very friendly with the best communication. Thanks to Chris & Hollie for the comm’s and Coby for fitting the Brace.

Bought a k brace BAF .. very well constructed and sprayed with all attachments to fit … very well packed .. My overall experience… fantastic! Came in for a res delete and back box mod and couldn’t be happier with it, they did a brill job to say they’d not done it on a 118i before - sounds amazing and all the staff were great, will be back in the future😊

Ordered a black KBrace and Red turned up, whatsapp / Facebook/ phonecall, no reply! 4 days later they answer the phone and ask who's fault it is? Can you not see your orders? I ordered Black surly that's easy to work out? I then get attitude when I ask for £30 back to have it powder coated "we only pay 20" well maybe that's why your paint jobs are so damn awful! Thinner than tracing paper, in fact the whole product doesn't exactly scream quality. The worst thing though had to be the attitude from the owner on the phone, really really poor!!

Ordered a full k frame for an A5. It came and the dimensions were correct for the lower half but at least half an inch short of the car on the top section. After contacting them I was basically told to bolt it in loose top and bottom then tighten it all which then leaves gaps between the car and the frames feet, top and bottom, and pulls the center mounts up so they no longer sit flat, bracing correctly. Also the fixings were wrong for my car and the paint job wasn't the best, at the top where the bars join I can still see bare metal. Also being picky now they've done my head in there's a small hole in one of the welds at the bottom. I was asked to send photos which I did by text and email and after a week no reply. Cannot recommend, not impressed at all.
