This used to be a good place to buy bags, but in recent years I have bought 2 bags that started falling apart within 2 months of purchase.
If you bother to buy anything in this shop after reading this review then make sure it is a a known and reputable brand
I bought my most recent bag online because I don't want to trust bag city again.

Purchased a case from them on the basis that it complied with Ryanair measurements. IT DID NOT. Charged €70 by Ryanair. Measured case on return home - 2.5 cm too wide. Bagcity ignored all communications. Also contravening Consumer Rights Act 2022 as receipts are being marked ''NO REFUNDS'' . How's that for customer service.!!!!

I bought my kids school bags here and the staff were so friendly and helpful, their selection of bags was excellent. I will definitely be back again for another purchase

Bought a backup for carrying a laptop to work the few days I am in the office so very lightly used. The lining between the front compartment came apart due to faulty stitching. Tried to return the bag having had it for 6 months and the shop refused to take the return. I'm going to the small claims court now as Bag City are pure con artists. The product was faulty and these guys are low life's that are totally untrustworthy.

I ordered a shopping trolley from bag city it arrived about 2 weeks later I used it 3 times and on my way back from the shop a wheel fell off and would not stay on which left me dragging my shopping on one wheel I was mortified I have emailed them 3 times I have sent them photos of the wheel which showed them where one of the plastic pieces had broken off and I have heard nothing back what a waste of money I would have given 0 stars if let .customer service is a joke

Bag City, Kathleen was fantastic very professional and friendly. She’s very patient and knowledgeable of all the stock and Bag City has a fantastic selection of all types of luggage products. Kathleen was very helpful when I was shopping there and she knows exactly what you want and the prices. The lady knows her products.

Ordered a shopping trolley bag for my grandad, it came in just cheap plastic wrap and without the wheels tied to it, thankfully we know our postman and he dropped the wheels off the next day.
It was put together wrong, which we had to unscrew the bolts to put it together properly as otherwise it wouldn't have folded out correctly - this would of been too much for my grandad to do alone.
It has been used a few times now and has had parts falling apart, the wheels don't work as good as I would of hoped considering the price €70. I had reviewed it on their website under the product and the company deleted it.
Don't waste your money or time on this company and just order from a different Irish company,

Ordered online November 28th, received an email to say the order was being processed. Still no sign of it & no further emails. Have emailed looking for an update with no reply, have tried calling their custom er service line, they don't answer. I am now trying to claim the money back through a charge back with my bank. Wish I'd seen the other rewiers before I placed the order.

Please do not make any purchase from this website!!! I’ve ordered a bag on the 28/10 received an email the same day saying my purchase is being processed however since then no update. I’ve tried contacting them via emails and calls which were uncessful. Spoke to my bank and I was informed my payment was registered as “a subscription” which I was unaware of. I believe this website is a scam and Alhamdulilah fortunately I was able to get a refund from my bank. Avoid at all cost !

Don’t waste your time or money. I bough a school backpack from the Galway shop for my son. After a few weeks use the zip has broken and stitching ripped. The shop refused to give me a refund because it was after 28 days. They have no regard for consumer rights or customer service. Their staff are rude and unhelpful. Avoid.

I purchased a travel bag on line.
I got an email back instantly to say order been processed.
Since then there have been no updates, no communication. I’ve emailed a couple of times on their website. Complete silence.

I placed an order yesterday evening 06 June. This item was supposed to be dispatched today so that it would arrive tomorrow. This business could possibly be dying, as there is no way to login or register on their website, the faq section just has random text with no meaning, their only legitimate numbers are for each shop and any email you send to customer service never gets replied to. You are basically just handing them free money by shopping online with them. If you want to spend money just to get a confirmation email, shop online with them.

Their physical stores have quite a few options, though, to choose from. You will be fortunate if they have exactly what you want, or else, have fun shopping online with them.

Ordered something from bag city on the 14th, received an email that the order was being processed the same day. Now the 20th and haven't heard anything about it since, contacted support to ask for an update as the company is based in Ireland and shouldn't take more than 3 business days to ship and received no response.

I ordered a suitcase yesterday and it arrived this morning. great service and will definitely order from this company again.

Excellent service. Can’t recommend this company enough. Didn’t have the colour of the set of cases I wanted as a present. Brian went out of his way to find me a suitable replacement and made sure they were delivered to a local store so I would have them in time for my daughters birthday.

Received a lovely set of cases for my birthday, the quality is amazing and such a beautiful colour. Would 100% recommend this company to anyone. Decided I wanted them very last minute and the company were able to deliver them the next day to the closest store available to me without hesitation. Absolutely delighted!!!!
