Following on from your response I've told you I do not want another cake I don't know what you expect me to do with a cake it was for a very special birthday and going by how bad the cake was that you sent out in the first place I definitely don't want another cake all I want is my money back but for some reason you are finding that very difficult and you are just trying to palm me off with another disgusting cake I don't think you really understand how important a cake is for someone's special occasion you know people like to take pictures for lasting memories and the memories we are left with is what a disgusting dry flat pancake we had received so thanks for that

I ordered a cake for my colleagues birthday and it was incredibly dry. I also ordered mini egg brownies for everyone a week before. They messaged me the afternoon before to say they didn't have any mini eggs. I asked for a refund and they wouldn't give me one

Ordered for a Friday, the birthday was the Sunday we only cut into it on the Monday. Still so fresh such a moist sponge and the icing was perfect too. Highly recommend the order came on time on the day I requested perfectly boxed too.

I ordered two gluten‑ and lactose‑free cakes for my husband’s surprise 50th birthday. The original cakes were packaged really well, but unfortunately the courier ignored the “this way up” instructions and transported them on their side, leaving them unusable.
I emailed bakerdays straight away and they responded quickly, offering to replace both cakes for delivery the very next day. The replacements arrived in time for the party, and they tasted fantastic.
Brilliant customer service and delicious cakes. I’d highly recommend them.

A beautiful birthday cake with the friendly dogs picture on. This made everyone smile. I ordered a mix of half vanilla and half chocolate sponge. This was perfect and tasted wonderful. The cake was well packaged and arrived on time. This was the first time I had ordered from Bakerdays and I would recommend them to everyone.

Through a blip in ordering, the cake I wanted was delivered too early. I got in touch with the company and they have sorted things out very quickly and with no fuss. Their customer service is second to none and extremely prompt. I would recommend Bakerdays without hesitation. I am delighted with their service.

We ordered a personalised photo retirement cake for our colleague and it arrived beautifully and safely packaged in plenty of time for our celebration!

I was asked by my grandson and fiancee if I would organise a special cake for the guests at their wedding who had allergies. Gluten, Eggs, Dairy etc.
I approached Bakerdays who said that it was definitely something they could arrange and asked me for details of type etc. The couple had designed their table settings and had painted candles in the theme. I sent Bakerdays a photo of the candles and asked them to follow the theme on to the cake if possible. I received an email with photo of what they proposed and I was asked if I wanted to add or change anything. I immediately fell in love with the design and the only thing I added was the names of the bride and groom.
I needed the cake delivered on a particular day as I was taking it to the venue.
It arrived as planned and I was extremely impressed with the packaging. Seeing the cake for real was even better than I envisaged.
On the day of the wedding, the cake was admired and complimented by so many of the guests. The bride and groom adored it and couldn’t believe that I had managed to find a way to achieve something so beautiful.
Guests with no allergies that tried the cake were astonished that it tasted just like normal cake.
I really can’t praise Bakerdays enough.

Cake came after date requested as was not amend as promised. Left in rain on step after we left.cake was damaged and flowers broke.

I ordered a bento cake and some cupcakes for Mother’s Day that were meant to come with a cupcake tier stand. When it arrived the stand wasn’t in the box. I only ordered the cupcakes because it came with the stand as I liked the aesthetic and I would not have bought them otherwise. I explained this to bakersdays and even mentioned the fact that I am autistic and it upset me because things didn’t go the way it was planned in my head and it was too late to go out and find a tier stand. I spoke to Marielle who seemed to be really friendly and helpful and offered me a free cake of my choice which was really generous. So I picked a limited edition chocolate Easter bento cake that has a nest on top with mini eggs. She said she would schedule the delivery for 2nd April so that me and my nan could enjoy it over Easter’s. The cake did not come. I therefore had to complain again and she said it didn’t get passed onto production team and I said it was fine. I then received the cake on 8th (yesterday) and it was not at all the cake that I picked and not even one that exists on the site, it had pink and blue buttercream on top and the cake was green and pink inside. it looks sloppy and like the butter cream was just slapped on and inside. I then emailed them about this and I got a reply within a minute and then once I explained who I was and the situation, I have now been ghosted and received no response, even after emailing again this morning. It just feels disheartening as I was looking forward to the cake that I chose and I feel like a beg having to chase it up constantly, when it was something I was offered as a goodwill gesture :( I wish I could include a photo on here it looks like some sort of joke :/

Perhaps their cakes are delicious, however I phoned several times but no one ever answered the phone; in fact the call appeared to be cut off each time. I went elsewhere & received excellent service from people who knew how to answer the phone.

Fantastic service from ordering to delivery - design team helped ensure our request for a photo to be added to a plain cake was supported, with them helping to adjust the picture to centre it more. The cake arrived as stated, beautifully wrapped to protect it during transit to our party. I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday. On receipt of the confirmation of my order I noted that the delivery address was incorrect. I immediately emailed bakerdays to rectify this. I received an email to assure me that the amendment had been made. On the day the cake was due to be delivered to my daughter’s address I received a text message informing me that the cake had been delivered to my local post office! The message informed me that I cannot collect the cake until tomorrow. I will then need to post the cake to my daughter’s address at additional cost to myself. My daughter lives in a different city therefore will not receive the cake on her birthday, in fact she won’t receive it until some considerable days after! This obviously defeats the whole object! I am beyond disappointed with the company, would not consider using bakerdays in the future and would certainly not recommend!!! I feel that I have wasted my money on a company who have proved themselves unreliable despite emails to the contrary!
Update - Bakerdays emailed to apologise and offered to repost my daughter’s birthday cake, which should be received tomorrow. Obviously this would not arrive on her birthday as planned. I accepted the offer and await feedback regarding the arrival of the cake tomorrow. Hopefully there will be no further disappointment.

I ordered an anniversary cake it was to be delivered on the day prior 20 March 2026 ( as it was a sponge cake) to the said anniversary. It did not arrive even on the Saturday. I had to make last minute local alternative arrangements. If this company wants to provide cakes by post ( courier) then it must make its promised delivery dates.
I have learned my lesson to go local in future and avoid companies who promise delivery dates that are not kept. This cause disappointment for special occasions.

I ordered a Valentines Day cake, that was supposed to have an 'amazing hidden heart' made from red velvet. It did not contain this, just a regular cake. The cake was nothing special, but delivered quickly and in one piece. Simply mis-sold though.

I am extremely disappointed with Bakerdays.com due to both their failure to deliver my order as agreed and the unsatisfactory way they handled the issue. We ordered three cakes for a retirement event with 150 guests. We had a clear agreement to receive a refund for one cake and the delivery cost, with the third cake to be delivered the following day. Unfortunately, the third cake was never delivered, and I was informed it was lost.
Bakerdays’ only offer was either a 25% refund on one cake or a £100 goodwill credit. Since my boss, who paid for the order, has relocated to Germany—where Bakerdays does not deliver—the credit was unusable. They refused to provide a monetary refund instead, which was very disappointing and felt inflexible.
The delivery was problematic from the start. One of the cakes arrived damaged and shifted on its base, making it unsuitable for the event. Due to the missing cake, there was not enough cake for all attendees, which caused embarrassment at the retirement celebration.
I spent considerable time and effort communicating with Bakerdays, trying to reach a fair resolution reflecting the stress and inconvenience caused. Despite multiple attempts, their final offer did not adequately address the issues. I ultimately accepted the partial refund to close the matter, which I feel is not a fair or proportionate outcome.
Before ordering, I expressed concerns about delivery based on multiple negative reviews and was reassured that my order would be monitored carefully. Sadly, the problems reported in those reviews proved accurate.
Overall, this experience was far from the smooth and enjoyable service I expected. I cannot recommend Bakerdays.com and will not be using their services again.
