Very accommodating
I’ve ordered cakes a few times over the years and the vanilla sponge cakes are delicious. Soft and moist and packed full of flavour. I’ve just requested a special order via email because the style of cake I wanted was not listed on their website. Not only are they accommodating my request but the speed in which they replied to me is really impressive. I would recommend this online bakery.

Fabulous 80th birthday celebration cake
I found Bakerdays online when searching for a celebration cake which was both attractive and affordable. The company were AMAZING, and their communication and customer service is second to none.
The range of cakes and designs is vast, and I was delighted with the one that I chose. The Victoria sponge was light and tasty, and the filling had just the right amount of sweetness. The icing was not overbearing, and the watering can and flowers design was stunning and greatly admired.
Thank goodness the company package their cakes so well, because unfortunately the courier service left a LOT to be desired, and only the packaging saved the cake and our special celebration from disaster!!
However, this is absolutely NO reflection on Bakerdays, as this was completely beyond their control.
I have complained to the courier company, and provided Bakerdays with photographic evidence of the state of the packaging. Bakerdays customer service staff were very grateful for the feedback, and extremely supportive regarding the unsavoury situation that the courier company had caused.
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this lovely company again!

Damaged bottom tier but very delicious cake!
Unfortunately, on delivery, the bottom tier of the cake got damaged. I managed to evenly shape it and thankfully when placing the top tier it was barely noticeable. Thankfully the cake itself was very delicious, and my 3 year old was very happy with it regardless it not being perfect and that is what matters.

Brilliant & delicious Celebration Cake
I purchased a medium sized sponge cake filled with jam and butter icing, with a red sports car printed on the top of the cake. The cake looked stunning and was delicious to eat.
The cake was for my husband’s 80th birthday party and he was absolutely thrilled with it, especially with the red sports car design on the top of the cake which was a nod to the red MX5 sport car which he owned.
From placing the order to the delivery of the cake, which was packed beautifully and securely for the transportation of it, l cannot fault bakerdays and will certainly order again when I require another celebration cake or something else. I fully recommend this company. Thank you..

Following on from your response I've told you I do not want another cake I don't know what you expect me to do with a cake it was for a very special birthday and going by how bad the cake was that you sent out in the first place I definitely don't want another cake all I want is my money back but for some reason you are finding that very difficult and you are just trying to palm me off with another disgusting cake I don't think you really understand how important a cake is for someone's special occasion you know people like to take pictures for lasting memories and the memories we are left with is what a disgusting dry flat pancake we had received so thanks for that

Following your original complaint, we did try to resolve this by offering a full replacement cake as a gesture of goodwill, as we could see from the photos provided that there was some unevenness with the cake caused during transit. Our intention was simply to try and make things right for you and provide a better experience. In addition to this, we also offered a cake to the same value for another occasion, valid for use within 12 months, to give you flexibility to use this at a future celebration when convenient for you.
We would also like to clarify that the half-and-half cake selected does not include a jam filling, as this particular design comes with buttercream filling only. From the images provided. The cake also matched the standard sizing advertised for this product. We could see some redness visible within the photos provided, which is why we were more than willing to fully replace the cake in an effort to put things right for you.
We are truly sorry that this experience left you feeling let down, as that was never our intention.

I ordered a cake for my colleagues birthday and it was incredibly dry. I also ordered mini egg brownies for everyone a week before. They messaged me the afternoon before to say they didn't have any mini eggs. I asked for a refund and they wouldn't give me one

Regarding the Mini Egg brownies, as soon as our Production Team became aware that we had unexpectedly run out of Mini Eggs, we reached out to you straight away. We completely understand that the timing of this, being the afternoon before delivery, was far from ideal and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.
There also seems to have been a misunderstanding regarding the brownies being sent without the Mini Eggs. This was never our intention, and instead our Production Team arranged for a replacement order to be sent the following day. We also offered you the option to choose any flavour from our brownie range as an alternative.
We’re also very sorry to hear that the birthday cake was dry, as this is certainly not the standard we aim to provide.

I ordered two gluten‑ and lactose‑free cakes for my husband’s surprise 50th birthday. The original cakes were packaged really well, but unfortunately the courier ignored the “this way up” instructions and transported them on their side, leaving them unusable.
I emailed bakerdays straight away and they responded quickly, offering to replace both cakes for delivery the very next day. The replacements arrived in time for the party, and they tasted fantastic.
Brilliant customer service and delicious cakes. I’d highly recommend them.

AMAZING DESIGN AND GREAT TASTING CAKE
I was asked by my grandson and fiancee if I would organise a special cake for the guests at their wedding who had allergies. Gluten, Eggs, Dairy etc.
I approached Bakerdays who said that it was definitely something they could arrange and asked me for details of type etc. The couple had designed their table settings and had painted candles in the theme. I sent Bakerdays a photo of the candles and asked them to follow the theme on to the cake if possible. I received an email with photo of what they proposed and I was asked if I wanted to add or change anything. I immediately fell in love with the design and the only thing I added was the names of the bride and groom.
I needed the cake delivered on a particular day as I was taking it to the venue.
It arrived as planned and I was extremely impressed with the packaging. Seeing the cake for real was even better than I envisaged.
On the day of the wedding, the cake was admired and complimented by so many of the guests. The bride and groom adored it and couldn’t believe that I had managed to find a way to achieve something so beautiful.
Guests with no allergies that tried the cake were astonished that it tasted just like normal cake.
I really can’t praise Bakerdays enough.
I highly recommend them 🥰

Cake came after date requested as was not amend as promised. Left in rain on step after we left.cake was damaged and flowers broke.

very disappointing experience :/
I ordered a bento cake and some cupcakes for Mother’s Day that were meant to come with a cupcake tier stand. When it arrived the stand wasn’t in the box. I only ordered the cupcakes because it came with the stand as I liked the aesthetic and I would not have bought them otherwise. I explained this to bakersdays and even mentioned the fact that I am autistic and it upset me because things didn’t go the way it was planned in my head and it was too late to go out and find a tier stand. I spoke to Marielle who seemed to be really friendly and helpful and offered me a free cake of my choice which was really generous. So I picked a limited edition chocolate Easter bento cake that has a nest on top with mini eggs. She said she would schedule the delivery for 2nd April so that me and my nan could enjoy it over Easter’s. The cake did not come. I therefore had to complain again and she said it didn’t get passed onto production team and I said it was fine. I then received the cake on 8th (yesterday) and it was not at all the cake that I picked and not even one that exists on the site, it had pink and blue buttercream on top and the cake was green and pink inside. it looks sloppy and like the butter cream was just slapped on and inside. I then emailed them about this and I got a reply within a minute and then once I explained who I was and the situation, I have now been ghosted and received no response, even after emailing again this morning. It just feels disheartening as I was looking forward to the cake that I chose and I feel like a beg having to chase it up constantly, when it was something I was offered as a goodwill gesture :( I wish I could include a photo on here it looks like some sort of joke :/
