What sets Balconette apart is their exceptional team. Their engineering department is quick and precise, clarifying details upfront to ensure the product is right first time. On top of that, their customer service is unmatched—the production team literally held on for me to arrive just minutes before closing for the Christmas holidays so I could collect my second unit, having just arrived in from France.
From technical support to sales, they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't go anywhere else for balconies and cannot recommend them highly enough!

We are part way through ordering our glass balustrade. The CAD design process has been helpful, we have able to query and amend the design to ensure we get what we want, the design team have be helpful. Now we come to payment there are a couple of things that make us anxious. We are advised that we cannot pay by debit card or credit card which we find odd as we paid the deposit by debit card. The only methods of payment are bank transfer or cheque. The former makes me nervous as in an era where scams are rife it is more or less impossible to recover monies in an event of a scam. I am part writing this review to check whether other buyers were concerned about this. We are paying by cheque. Now that we are in the position to order i have read the terms of sale in more detail. What we expected is that it is bespoke therefore if it doesn't fit that would be on us and monies would be non refundable, what i didn't expect was the 10% deposit would be non refundable when manufacture has not yet started. We do not plan to cancel but not really what i would have expected. The other reviews look good so am reassured this is not a scam but being asked to pay by BACS not debit or credit card leads us to think that way and be nervous.

A quality product from a quality company.
Pre and post installation customer service and support at its best. JP was particularly helpful in providing technical details for an old installation.
Highly recommended!

We’ve now fitted a total of over 21m of Balconette’s frameless balustrade both inside & outside our self-build house with the sub-projects about a year apart. The company has been a pleasure to deal with with Jean-Philippe and Jon being particularly flexible & supportive. The product is excellent and we’re delighted with the results.

I have had a good experience with Balconette.
I needed a suitable balustrade for a new roof terrace. It is a three-sided arrangement, about 7m long in total, on top of a parapet wall of varying height with a GRP coping, incorporating 135 degree and 90 degree corners plus one section of obscured glass 1.8m high.
Years before implementation, Balconette provided me with detailed technical information about their Aerofoil system before I placed my order, so that I could make the parapet suitable for their product. I am a chartered structural engineer, so I prepared my own calculations based upon Balconette's standard calculations. For my specific arrangement I needed special thicker custom - designed end fixings which I sourced separately. However, Balconette accommodated them in the overall scheme.
I provided a fully dimensioned drawing and after a few iterations (each iteration takes several weeks), Ujjwal, Balconette's CAD designer had translated it into fabrication drawings which I carefully checked. I paid the balance of my quotation and the parts arrived about three weeks later. Delivery was well coordinated.
With the excellent advice of JP, I installed the system myself, which took me about a week. JP gave me some excellent practical tips. One tip of my own is to mask the glass and the hand rail/bottom rails before applying mastic as it is quite difficult to control. I had never attempted glazing installation before, but armed with Balconette's instructions, that was not too difficult.
The finished system is excellent - well thought out and well engineered with quality components that are built to last. It is particularly elegant because of the way that the strength of the system itself is utilised to provide stability. This "form from function" aesthetic makes it slender and stylish. I particularly appreciate the simple fixings from the bottom channel into the substrate. With cantilevering systems this can be a real problem. There are no ferrous components at all. The finish to the hand rail itself is superb.
In use, the system feels solid with very little deflection under applied load. If you are an experienced DIY-er, then this is an elegant, functional and durable balcony system to install yourself.

The balcony still looks great after 14 years.
I needed to take it down to attend to the brickwork below.
Balconette could not have been more helpful

Having first contacted Balconette (along with other companies) they were the best at keeping in touch and keen to get the business.
We opted for the aerofoil system for our balcony as it suited what we wanted more fully with a top rail. Their website has a lot of useful informative instructional YouTube videos which came in handy. Prior to ordering they were also on hand answering specific detailed questions.
Although we opted for the fully DIY option we are lucky to have a carpenter who installed for us. It would be a tricky job unless extremely capable. That said, the instructions were good and there was nothing missing or broken with a pallet delivery.
I inadvertently threw away a couple of finishing caps, purely cosmetic. The company followed up, post delivery, and they sent the parts with no quibble.
Have no hesitation in recommending the company and product. It’s very well made and cleverly designed.

So 5 years ago our builder installed a Balconette balustrade around our rooftop deck. No problems with the balustrade in 5 years but upon inspection our original builder had measured it too small and bodged it. The team at Balconette, J-P in particular, charged nothing to design a work around to make it fit properly and gave great support whilst we fitted it.

The balcony system we wanted was cheaper with Balconette than with other suppliers. Communication was great and delivery was sooner than expected. With the initial delivery, there was a slight bit of damage to the hand rail (probably a result of transit), nonetheless, Balconette sent a replacement hand-rail no quibble within a couple of days. I am very pleased with the product and the cost, also, the willingness to rectify a problem ASAP.

We had a great experience purchasing our Orbit Mirror Juliet from Balconette.
From the beginning, the team provided clear guidance and detailed drawings, which really helped us prepare for installation. During the process, they were always quick to respond to any questions, both via email and phone, and offered practical solutions whenever needed.
Their support made the installation much smoother and gave us confidence throughout the project.
Highly recommended.

We fitted a balcony a few years ago and unfortunately we had a problem with our roof and needed to remove part of the balcony, it is only when you have to do work on it that you realise how well it is made. The balcony was easy to strip down and a quick soak in warm soapy water the seals were as good as new. A call to Jean-philippe and a kit to reinstall the glass was sent to us free of charge.

The technical team, especially Jean-Philippe Ramdas, went out of their way to support me on a complex re-build of my balustrade after a leaking roof required it to be dismantled and re-done.
Nothing was too much trouble and advice was always forthcoming, calls always returned and new parts supplied quickly when required.
When it got really technical and problematic solutions were provided to overcome them. This helped to keep costs to a minimum.
I honestly wouldn’t have coped without this support and advice and can’t thank JP and the team enough.

Balconette demonstrated a professional approach from the outset. Flexible, communicative with a can-do attitude meant the whole process went smoothly. The installation was of the highest standard and the resulting balcony fitting and materials exuded quality. A 5 star job!

Great job start to finish. We found the Balconette team to be very customer focused. We have an unusual curved and straight edged terrace. It all went to plan and the balustrade end result looks fabulous.

Great service and the balcony looks amazing. We managed to get a piece cut to an awkward size quickly and easily.
