I recently bought some childrens toys from Balmers, the staff were polite and helpful and the items were received promptly. I will be shopping at Balmers in the future.

ordered lawnmower advertised as in stock {next day delivery} phoned next day to get update as no dispatch details forwarded got informed they had to order in from Honda shouldn't take long couple of days next day get message they had canceled my order reason being it might not arrive in one piece
due to courier? {DPD} informed my payment would be refunded and it could take unto 10 days before I receive my funds back

I had a question about the delivery and got an accurate and prompt response from Joanne. The mower arrived but without the enabler key, this could be a negative, however the acid test of a company is how they respond when things go wrong. I called in, call answered straight away by a real person who knoew what they were talking about, they apologised, key despatched that day to me and arrived the next day tracked delivery. This is the kind of service we all yearn for these days.

I bought a mower online from this company. The mower stopped working and I contacted them to report the problem.

The company replied and informed me (considering I bought this online), that I would have to return it, physically, to a service centre.

I told them that I would not be taking the mower to a service centre and requested them to arrange collection for the return.

Although they are legally obligated to accept the return, the company never replied.

Never use this company! It is a scam! Ordered a lawn mower and they said that it is not in stock. I had to wait 2 months for the lawn mower. Eventually a lawn mower did arrive but it did not work. Tried to call company, but blocked all numbers. Never use this company!
