The dress is okay- the color looks nice against my complexion- but it has a funny smell, and the material is cheap; however, the size fits me-I don’t have to do much altering- if any. I ordered an xs... See more

I ordered from Baltic Born several times before receiving an email that the two dresses I recently purchased were "unsellable" and I was no longer able to return items.
When I reached out for clarification they sent a picture of a few pieces of dog hair and then informed me the same issued happened 2024 and this was now my "second strike." When I told them I was never informed of the issue in 2024 and asked them to reconsider since I was never notified the first time, this was their response:
"Thanks for your reply and no problem at all, we'd be happy to attach those pictures from our returns team as requested. Additionally, we did not notify you of the other two in February, as we only inform customers at the 3rd strike, as that is when our returns team alerts our customer support team, of the repeated return situation. We apologize for any inconvenience."
Shoddy way of doing business...
BUYERS REGRET
I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I ordered so many dresses to try on for my daughters wedding. I didn't like any of the dresses that I got they are not good quality. So I had a 400 credit that I had to use because THEY RETURN NOTHING! I bought some sweaters and am so disappointed. You are better off buying off of amazon.
Don’t buy from this company
Don’t buy from this company. I purchased a dress for a wedding, but it was darker than the online pictures. I purchased the “free shipping and protection.” The dress was not listed as final sale. I tried to initiate a return and it says it is not available for return. I keep getting automated responses- no human response so far. Terrible customer service.
Great customer service
Great customer service! I emailed them about a website glitch and they replied right away!
They also sent a reminder email that I had an $80 store credit that I had forgotten about!
Thank you, Baltic Born!
Unethical policies
Unethical return policies even when they are in the wrong. Not only do you only get store credit but if you pass the 30 point even by a day they refuse your return. Claiming the “condition” of the item cannot be guaranteed after 30 days like it’s a freaking carton of milk. Horrible customer service, terrible experience overall. Website colors are almost always off. So just be prepped for a headache. It’s sad because some of their items are cute.

I bought a very nice navy blue and cream strip sweater for my daughter wedding event. I wore it once and washed it as the instructions told me to. When I started to pack the sweater I noticed pink run where the navy blue meets the cream. Since I am leaving in 4 days for wedding, I did email and called. It has been 72 hours since email and phone messages. They have not contacted me at all. For a 52.00 sweater this should not happen. I am just upset that no one has contacted me in regards to issue, based upon their timeline. I love the sweater and was looking forward to wearing it to one of the events. I really thought I would hear from them.
I wouldn't but from baltic born again
I wouldn't but from baltic born again. They charge you a return fee at check out. I bought the return fee, because I bought two dresses and wanted to see which one looked better. Tried to return it and was denied, website stating that the return was not eligible on that item. Tags were still on and I only tried it on at home. Will never be buying from Baltic Born again
No refunds
I ordered 4 dresses to choose from for an upcoming gala and didn't like any of them for various reasons -sizing, colors, didn't look as pictured online. I paid for the "easy returns" at checkout and am now learning I can only get a store credit. Sure you can say I should've looked it up before shopping, but in this day and age, who doesn't allow refunds if you return items new with tags within the set timeframe. Also as a women owned company, it feels so anti-women to have such a strict policy when we all know how challenging it is to find the right fit even when measuring. Super disappointed in this brand. Was really hoping to find a nice, new place to shop.
Returns are only store credit
I had ordered 2 dresses, one for a wedding and 1 for vacation. Luckily I plan ahead because they took 3 weeks to arrive. Both dresses arrived today and although fabric and colors were excellent the fit was not. So I attempted to return them and then discovered no refunds. They only do credit to purchase more dresses, etc. I really struggled with the choices available. I am petite 4' 11" and most of there dresses are long with a few mini and mid length. I would have preferred a refund, but no such luck. This literally took over an hour trying to select exchanges before I could print the return mailing labels.
I tend to try on the clothes ordered online and if it's an instant no, I return them same day tags and everything in pristine condition. This will be my last experience purchasing from Baltic Born.
Beware of shady, unethical return policies
Beware of shady, unethical return policies. I purchased a dress which was nothing like the advertised picture. It was baggy and did not fit. It looked totally different on their website. I knew I could not get a refund, so I selected another dress in exchange (my only option). The 2nd dress came and was gigantic....I ordered a size small and it draped on the floor and was ill-fitting in the top. I am 5'6" (average height) and 125 lbs, so this should not have been so ill-fitting. I attempted to exchange it for another dress but was told I was only allowed ONE exchange. This is very frustrating for something I feel is their fault (poor sizing). I am now stuck with an expensive dress that does not fit. Their pictures are misleading.
Scam "no refunds" policy
If I could give zero I would. This company purposely misleads customers about returns and specifically that there are no refunds. They bury their policy in a link at the bottom of the website in small type. There is no mention of no refunds at checkout or in confirmation emails even. They also only employ a AI bot to respond to customer complaints. It's a scam company in my opinion. I completely understand paying to return a purchase if I am getting a refund. But to have to pay shipping both ways and only be allowed store credit in this market is despicable. Their whole policy directly contradicts their claim to be sustainable if you can only risk purchasing 1 item at a time in case it doesn't work out.
Took My Money, and Ran With It
I wish I had something good to say as I was really excited about getting the dress I had ordered (first time ordering from here), and a friend had recommended this company but unfortunately, these people get 1 star and it would be 0 if that were an option. I ordered a dress a couple weeks ago, it shipped out quicker than expected, and to my surprise, was shipped via a carrier that I had found was only for APO or PO boxes when I live at a physical address. I was under the impression, based on their shipping policies, that my order would be shipped via UPS, which is more reliable for me and is the only reason I proceeded with the order. Well shockingly, my package with DHL/USPS shows it was delivered to my mailbox and it is in fact not there. Naturally, I contacted both the postal service and Baltic Born concerning the delivery being missing. One would think that Customer Service would take care of the customer right? Oh no. Since I opted out of "Protecting My Package", I am SOL according to Baltic Born. I opted out because I thought my package was shipping with a reliable carrier so I didn't feel the need to spend the extra money and in doing so, Baltic Born refuses to refund or replace my package because they don't purchase warranties with the carrier. No offense but that doesn't sound like my problem, especially now that you're keeping MY money and I have no product. Absolutely terrible business practice and not customer-friendly. Practically theft if you ask me and a total scam to trap people into losing their money if they chose to save a few dollars by not buying package protection only for them to lose the whole lot. As if it couldn't get any more insulting, they thought it was an appropriate solution to offer me 40% off a new purchase. Are they out of their minds? So you want me to be out the money on the original package, and now you want me to spend more money only to probably still not get my item? It's laughable honestly. I wouldn't recommend shopping here unless you feel like risking a chance to lose your money and your product all in one. Don't expect them to be helpful about it either because they will just throw their vague policies in your face as a cop out.
Loooonnng shipping
Dress was ok, but the shipping took 3 weeks longer than originally estimated. I was unable to wear my dress to the event I originally purchased it for.
Awful customer service/return policy
The dresses were pretty, but the return policy and customer service was awful, so I will not be ordering again. My package got lost and was over 2 weeks late. I had ordered items for my family for a wedding we were attending, and they didn’t arrive in time, and then despite reaching out to the company they still refused to refund me and only offered store credit. Very disappointed.
Save your money and shop elsewhere
The absolute worst return policies. Awful presentation/delivery. Damaged items. Save your money and shop elsewhere.
This brand is absolutely awful
This brand is absolutely awful, and I will never purchase from them again. I will also make sure to warn others about my experience so they don’t waste their time or money here.
First, the delivery process was a complete nightmare. I was given an expected delivery date that seemed perfect for when I needed my order. However, the package didn’t arrive until after that date, making the entire purchase pointless. Every time I reached out for help, I was told the same thing: “Wait until this day, and if nothing changes, we’ll figure it out.” And, miraculously, on the exact day they told me to check, the tracking would “update”—but it was never a real update. It only refreshed to show the same status, as if they were trying to use that to their advantage and claim progress when nothing had actually moved. Second, their return and store credit policies are misleading and deceptive. On the front page, they advertise free shipping on your next order if you shop with store credit, but when I tried to use it, I was told free shipping only applies to orders over $125. That is not what was promised.
To make matters worse, my order total was $71 — $56 for the product, $10 for shipping, and the rest for tax. When I returned the item, they only gave me store credit for $56. How does that make sense when I paid $71 in total? Not only did I lose the money I paid for shipping the first time, but now if I want to buy something else, I have to pay shipping AGAIN out of my own pocket. So really, I’m being charged twice just to try and use the credit they gave me. That means I can’t even buy an item of the same value I originally purchased without spending more money. This is a total scam — they are pocketing money from customers and calling it “store credit.”
Overall, this brand feels dishonest and completely untrustworthy. They do not deliver on their promises, their customer service is unhelpful, and their return policy is designed to take advantage of customers. I will never shop here again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this company at all costs.
Shipped very late
Shipped very late. I couldn’t wear it to the event I got it for. The day it was supposed to be there, I got an email saying the item was delivered and it was from the day before when I still hadn’t gotten the item
