Everything was fine for about 10 years. My husband's salary went into the account, everyone was happy. A year ago we sold our house. Money went into the account from the sale of the house. Money went out for a new purchase. My account came under review and I had to provide deed of sale and purchase. We are retired now, so no new money was coming into the account for a year. However, a healthy bank balance remained with 0% interest! Today, they de-banked me. No reason given. Unbelievable!

Mediolanum insurance thailand

Hello everyone, I am on holiday in Thailand for two weeks and I bought travel insurance from Mediolanum (the maximum package they offer) which also covers healthcare.
Everything was fine, but two days ago I got food poisoning and I'm trying to contact them. After 48 hours, I still haven't received a response. All the numbers I call are busy or ring without answer (I've used a physical SIM card, an eSIM and a normal SIM card, and I've also tried calling from the hotel).
Their website is incomprehensible and the numbers on the app don't work.
Now I'm treating myself, because I have to go home in a few days and I can't wait. I'm here to tell you to stay away from Mediolanum. I gave Mediolanum €110 for no service and no interest. Today I learned that to evaluate an insurance company, you unfortunately have to see how it behaves. I don't know if they behave like this in other countries, but in Thailand they are simply ignoring me. I've been scammed, don't make the same mistake I did.
Update: after 12 emails, 7 reports, numerous phone calls and speaking to 4 operators, they still refuse to open a complaint, avoid confrontation and continue to pass me from one operator to another.
Please do not be scammed by these thieves, they have power and use it against their customers.

Mediolanum Bank offers excellent customer service—always available and professional. The app is intuitive and comprehensive, making it easy to manage all banking operations. Financial advisors are well-trained and attentive to personal needs. The range of financial products is also excellent. Highly recommended for those looking for a modern and reliable bank.

They are promising a lot, but not keeping their promises. Family banker is unorganized. Selling products that you don't need. You don't have access to your money, because their app and website doesn't work 2 out of 5 times you access it. The app is very user unfriendly too. They work with other bad banks too. I wanted to collect a cheque today. System down. I need to come 3 times to collect a cheque? You should pay for wasting my time. I cancel as soon as I can. Shame that this mistake costed me dearly.

Un family banker attento e preparato. Un call center accorto e disponibile, sempre pronto a intervenire a supporto delle scelte fatte.

Do not have any business with them! I have some shares with them and for 3 months they made impossible for me to sale them. The shares are now loosing a lot of value and the bank doesn't reply to my email.

I love Banca Mediolanum for investing. They have amazing family bankers that help you and keep you informed always. I've been with this bank since 2018 and I have 0 complaints. They customer service is perfect. Once my credit card details were stolen and the customer service of Mediolanum made sure my money was retunred and they worked super fast. If you want to be relaxed with your money, this is your bank!

I recently intended too open a bank account at this bank. As a legal resident of Italy with all the official and valid documents needed for opening a bank account, I was appalled by the discriminatory treatment received.
A bank representative informed me that they were unable to open an account for me due to my nationality. They stated: “We don’t open bank accounts to people from that kind of countries”. This is not only unprofessional but also illegal in Italy. Financial institutions have a responsibility to serve all residents equally.
While I will not be banking here, I hope this review encourages the bank to re-evaluate its policies and provide fair service to everyone, regardless of their origin.

A year ago a relative died and the 4 heirs, of which I'm one, are still waiting for our inheritance. I travelled to Italy twice to sign documents and provide my id and information, lady March and May, and was told in June everything was ready and the money would be liquidated. There was no, or very little, of the inheritance tied up in investments, it was 95+% cash in a current account. In November they, and their representative, claimed the documents had been lost in their internal post system. We were promised it would be sorted imminently (a favourite expression of theirs). We are still waiting, it's the middle of March. My uncle must be spinning in his grave, and we have lodged an official complaint with the ombudsman, as attempts to do so with the bank themselves have got us nowhere. Our next step will be instructing a solicitor to chase them, along with outstanding interest on the money owed to us.

crazily complicated to start operating, expensive and poor customer service. There is better value for money in other options. Run away.

For months I have been unable to access my account. I am Italian but I live in the USA and I have a US cellphone and that makes impossible for them to give me access to my account. I spent many hours over the phone with their customer service without obtaining anything. Highly frustrating.
