Ordered some records in December, they had a lot of delays due to Coronavirus. Their shipping methods aren’t fantastic, but when I told them they sent out replacement records that arrived within 2 weeks of my enquiry to them. The fault lied with DHL more than them, but their shipping methods are a bit cheap.
Ordered a t-shirt in December, only for our tracking to go cold mid-December. No further updates were shown. When we contacted Bandwear they told us to give it 2 months, to allow for delays. We continued to check for updates. Then in January, we got an email saying we could claim through Route, only to find out that we were outside of the claim time frame and wouldn't be getting anything. Bandwear purposely mislead us so we were unable to claim for the T-shirt that we paid for and never received. If the tracking of an item shows it hasn't been delivered, the company should automatically give you a refund. Instead, they prolong the discourse in the hopes you'll give up. Appalling.
Used to shop with them for ages, ordered all my partner's vinyls thought them and had never had an issue!
Then I had a genuine concern on an order and was talked to like a second rate citizen..
Regardless of me being upset I was courteous in my email, I didn't agree with how the company looked at the issue I faced and for what I classed as (Sneaky) hiding the info I required in multiple sub folders I decided I wouldn't be shopping with them to avoid future hidden charges as with almost all companies additional charges such as customs are highlighted at the end to make the buyer aware this is a possibility.
Regardless on if I was in the right or not I never expected to have a customer service rep talk to me in such a manner... I get that what I thought was immoral may have been common practice to them but to be talked down to in such a disrespectful manner is absurd.
It's a shame as Bandwear have some amazing stuff on offer and as a shop I did really like them, even accepted that I may very well have been in the wrong for expecting no customs charges because it wasn't highlighted... But I refuse to shop with someone who treats their customer in such a manner when they have a question/complaint.
