So i have placed two orders with this company on separate occasions and unfortunately i couldn't recommend them any less.

Order 1:

After finding the company online through searching for a good quality, but reasonably priced, leather strap for my Apple Watch i placed an order for a black leather strap with the butterfly clasp. The shipment arrived in good time with no issues and at first glance the strap looked great. For a week or so everything was fine until one day, the butterfly clasp kept coming undone all by itself. 24 hours later and it was happening every time i moved my hand. Upon taking off the watch (in order to arrange to have it sent back) i then noticed that one of the arms that holds the leather (at the end that attaches to the watch) had snapped in half. Im not sure when this happened or how but the point is that within 7 days of owning this strap it had quite literally fallen apart (note: i work at desk and didnt use this strap for anything other than work). I swiftly arranged a return with no issues and the refund was received before i had even sent the parcel back (a nice touch of customer service i suppose).

Order 2:

So despite what appeared to be a poor quality strap, i thought i would give them another go but try a different black leather strap and this time without the butterfly clasp. However, despite having no stock for a number of straps, they dont actually tell you this until you have placed the order, I waited for two weeks without a word or tracking information and have been forced to chase them for updates (at this point i was told it would be a 6-8 week wait). As much as this sucks in a world where deliveries are instantaneous, i wasn't in a rush so agreed to sit tight and wait. 8 weeks passes, still no updates from them so i chase again to then be told it will be another 4 week wait. Upon complaining, again, about the lack of information, they very kindly offered to upgrade the strap to one of their more expensive ones, free of charge. Here i am, another week later having to chase AGAIN for tracking updates (for something they supposedly do have in stock). Have tried emailing and calling but nobody answers. I can only assume they are trading insolvent. Absolute shambles of a company. Have now had to contact the credit card company and raise a dispute for the money in question.

In conclusion and from my experience, this company cannot do customer service and from the one strap i have the build quality is poor when you consider the cost. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The best judge of a company is how they manage your experience when things go wrong.

I have to say that I've never in my life experienced such a pleasant recovery! Bandwerk is a new startup company they got wonderful quality products and they're learning fast. Being in a luxury product market suits them ;)

So where did things go wrong? They accidentally sent me the wrong product but made up for it adequately! I very highly recommend Bandwerk!
