A regressive university
I studied here briefly but couldn't tolerate the blatant sexism happening with my tutors. I am still paying the cost of attending Bangor with my second university because of it - Bangor will not talk to SFE and have no way of getting in touch with them without being at the mercy of being on hold to hopefully speak to a person. Essentially I cannot continue studying my dissertation with my new university because of attending Bangor for a short while previously. Whatever you do, avoid being near this establishment at all costs. It will leech into your life years after, and ruin everything for you otherwise.
I also stayed in touch with many people from Bangor University that continued with their degree. Some of those peers have been rejected for resuming their studies with Bangor after sudden international policy change, and a handful of my friends that have managed to graduate are still trying to find employers that are willing to accept an employee with a Bangor degree, not through lack of trying.
My unique experience working with a colleague who studied there 40 years prior, taught me that the environmental courses have remained virtually unchanged throughout those 40 years. It is no surprise that after Bangor teachings, I was asked to start again with better specibus!
