Baopals.com payment bug
Baopals.com is a way for international customers to conveniently buy products from chinese webshops to be delivered to a Chinese address.
My first experience with this platform was pretty negative. I bought two products, and used the Ideal/Wero payment option to pay. I paid the money, got redirected to the payment landing page, which did not show my orders. After contacting their customer support, they asked my to provide all kinds of payment information, while later notifying me that there was a bug in their payment system when using Ideal. They had disabled this option in the morning (but only partially). In the end, they refunded the payment and I had to order again.
The customer support does not have tools to compensate their customers for any trouble caused by Baopals. In the end, I had to reorder my order and I had to pay a higher amount as the price of the products had already increased by then.
All in all, unreliable payment software and a responsive but ill-equiped customer service.
