Lacky,s wel goed alleen dat haalt de spanning weg wel moet je teveel laten zien dat je het zelf bent dus dat je en mens bent heist is makkelijke mensen te vinden dan een oc ook kom je niet zomaar in een fam en er zijn veel fams als je ze vraagt of je in die fam mag krijg je niet eens antwoord dat was vroeger anders

The game is well designed. In some areas this game could be better, especially communication. The organization has made progress in a positive way.
Lackeys work well, but they do take away some of the tension. You also have to show too much that it is really you, that you are a real person. A heist makes it easier to find people than an OC. It’s also not easy to get into a family (fam), and there are many families. When you ask if you can join one, you often don’t even get an answer. In the past this used to be different.
Final conclusion: there is still a lot that can be improved.

Unsecure platform. Where admins either leak login info or have an insecure databse.
Admins took away my account where i invested money and time in. Based on untrue accusations. They cannot provide any proof. They claim someone has been in my account and i share the account. I never shared my information with anyone. And the only other party that has my information is omerta themselves. admins have their own agenda and have zero to none selfreflection on the fact that they could be in the wrong. Dont put your money and time in this game.

Start playing a game for 7 days spending money ( on a donation, big problem here because give us advantage on the game. Its a add on). Spent 20 euros and after 7 days they close everything didnt give any information and say i cannot get my money back.

Reason: i was play the game with my girlfriend on the same room. Only one can play in the same place. Not serious. Ask to speak with supervisor waitted for 1 hour and super hash reply ( and just one reply after that start ignore). Thiefs crew playing with peoples time and money

Terrible. Bought a donating code and site became unreachable. Tried via email to complain but never got an answer. Bunch of theses! !

Like everyone here is saying, horribly managed game run by folks with no experience or effort. I've played this game on and off since 2004 and boy has it been down hill with every year.

Do not spend your time or money on this dead game, leave the admins and their friends to their small echo chamber, this game went from 10-20k active players daily to barely 500 now. It will die off soon and these people will disappear into nothingness. A shame really because the game had so much potential but horribly mismanaged and understaffed, and even the current staff are not experts at their own fields.

TLDR: Used to be good, now shit, don't play.

I've been an Omerta player for many years. I started when I was in college and had enough fond memories to play again after a few years break.

Boy, things have changed, and not for the better. There is rampant corruption within the game where Admins pick and choose what infractions they want to punish and which to let slide. They have relationships with certain players that skew the outcome of every version.

When they do punish players, they provide no reasoning whatsoever and there support system is a complete joke.

The game had a lot of potential, but it's ruined by admins who do not care about gameplay or increasing their player base- they care more about lining their pockets.

Stay far away and spend your money elsewhere.

This game is not only poorly managed, It is entirely a scam.

- The website has no Terms and Conditions within same domain.
- The website does not have privacy policy or cookie disclaimer
- The website owners do not care about your requests for GDPR

I have written proof of in-game corruption, same data has been provided to UK and other european polices, banks and other payment providers.

What should be fun and games, is now a huge lawsuit case.

If you get your account banned and you can't figure why, dont get sad, it's just normal at Omerta!
Dont even try to ask why you'r account get banned, the answer will be - AdminKill's aren't debatable.

I will make my review in mutiple parts so you can get better view of the sittuation that only happens in omerta, i know omerta since 2.2 i've left because of crew attitude, not with me cause i've never been punished but regarding to some stuff that i will explain further, in so many similar games that i've played omerta is the one where crew can affect a lot the game. So lets review.

The game:
The game itself its great and we could have lot of fun there, it has some bugs and they are appearing every round, some of them pass from round to round. The new design its great compared with the old version.

The rules:
There is some fixed rules but in some versions, in Portuguese version for example where i play, the rules are constantly being changed, and some people are punished others not (i will go deeply into that further).
Sometimes we are lost about what we can or we can't do on omerta because of those rules changes, and also i can mention that they are only applicable for some but not for others.

The Crew:
In this case i will speak about my version crew, wich is the Portuguese Version.
Like i said on the start, i've played omerta since version 2.2 and i left because of crew attitudes (that time), and there was a situation where some data leak about other fams have been shared to some "crew" friends.
But some of crew attitude seems not to be changed. I've played those 2 Portuguese Versions during the COVID-19 sittuation, and again, some crew attitude regarding to people breaking rules only affected a few, to show "some action", when the others that done the same aren't punished.

In the current version of PT, there is a rule regarding to Family Alliances, where the crew have received some real Whatsapp proving that the rule as been violated, and their action? Zero.

They make the rules, but they also like people to report suspicious things in order to "help" them keeping the game fair, but then what we say counts nothing.

Well a long time has past since the last review and let me tell you this it has not gotten better, the players are still amasing thoug and the social aspect of the game works and the game itself is okay, even though it has become a question about making money for them.. the admins ruins it leaded by an Admin who calls herself Dot, ofcause they catch cheaters BUT! From time to time it happens that they are wrong and there is nothing to do because Dot is the judge jurry and executioner and she Will do anything to discredit you, as long as their politics are like this i would never recommend this game to anyone! Waste of money. Im sad to see my game thrugh many years in this state but if it hasnt been for the old loyal players til game would have been dead years ago, and im affraid if they keep the current game management with their politics the game lives on it last years.

Game itself is fun...other players make it even better. The admins however ruin the experience entirely. They can take days to reply to issues, have a rule which PUNISHES active players (they want you to spend money on automated features instead of playing yourself) and they ban honest players. I spent a lot of time & a few dollars playing just to get akilled(their version of banning your account), I sent proof I was not cheating (admins even agreed I wasn't cheating and would be 100% ok with me continuing what I was doing on a new account) but because I didn't know a process (which isn't actually written out anywhere for players to know until after the fact when they enlighten you), they refuse to reverse their decision... Instead tell me to go spend more time & money on a new account....If the game has a regime change...I'll recommend this game and maybe return. Until then, don't waste your time or money.

This game can be a lot of fun, there is a lot to do and you can keep yourself busy all the time.
Some strong points:
- Communication goes largely through IRC, this makes a very active playerbase.
- Lots of different aspects of the mafia world in the 1930's, several different kinds of groupcrimes. (This can vary from 2 to 8 people)
- Lots of casino's and objects.
Some weak points:
- Some of their admins/crewmembers barely speak English, this is quite annoying for a game that is hosted on a .com
- Pageviewlimit of 11 pages a minute, if you pay €2,50 to €3,00, you can view 40 pages for 28 days.
- They changed the layout a couple of months ago, this makes the game a bit buggy.

I can complain about this game like some other, but I have been playing for some 9 years. If it was really that bad, I would've quit.

You should never even register an account. this game is so full of bugs and so crappy admins, more incompetent people i believe you can't find... all they care about is your money. and dont give a shit about the players...

Dont play this game it dont worth your money/time.
Admins only screw ther players.
Bugs everywhere and if u report 1 they dont care and doing nothing. they prefer to make more bugs then make the bugs that are still in the game.
you can spend all your money inthere but u dont get any service, they will lauch when u die by a bug. so u can start over and pay more to them.

On barafranca you can spend months building your account and family, but its a complete waste of time.

Admins and developers are utterly imcompetent in just about all matters. Cheaters can cheat all they want without risking getting caught - Admins simply dosent care. If u repport bugs, then they wont to anything. The game is so full bugs that makes a huge impact on the game, and always in the wrong direction. The admins and developers what do they do about it? NOTHING!
