took care of the issue, and sent me a new part, but the emails back and forth were endless and teh customer service reps were a bit taciturn. Had they just sent a reminder of how to take the thing apart, and then put it back together, it would have been quicker. Those of us who dont take our grinder apart everyday need reminders.

Even though we weren’t able to completely resolve the issues of the Baratza ESP Pro grinder, the communication and support has been excellent. The issue is with consistent bean flow from the hopper through the flow control disc to the grinding burr. It requires some manual manipulation. Hoping Baratza designers can come to some solution to improve that area. The grind is excellent.

Really hands-on troubleshooting assistance simply by exchanging pictures and repair guides via email. Next day response. They sent me the replacement part at no charge during the warranty period. Simple installation by just following the guide.

Was efficiently referred to Tier 2 support.
However, the call back occurred at some random time - no time frame set. I left a message requesting a call back window. No response.
I - like many - cannot take a day off hoping Baratza tech support might call some day at some time.
Seems the performance goal is set for % called backed, not service quality / customer satisfaction
