Think twice before adopting from here!!!

I would think twice before adopting a pet from this organization.

They willfully misrepresent the temperament of a given animal, in order to encourage people to adopt it. This does a disservice to the animal, as well as to potential adopters.

At best this can lead to an extremely difficult adjustment period for both the pet and the adopter. At worst it can lead to an outcome where an ill-suited animal is sent to a home where it does more harm than good.

BARCS has all the flashy, glitzy social media marketing, but aside from that, they're no different than any other regional animal shelter.
