Mixed experience with Barebound
I ordered the Ventus barefoot sneakers and unfortunately received a defective pair — the two shoes were not identical and the issue was clearly visible.
Customer support was responsive and issued a full refund before I sent the shoes back, which I appreciated.
Since my size was out of stock, a replacement wasn’t possible at the time and I was asked to wait until early May. I was also offered a 10% discount for a future order, which felt quite low given the situation.
I had to handle the return myself (print label and drop-off), which added some extra inconvenience.
Overall, I really like the design and materials, especially the suede leather, but I think there’s room for improvement in quality control and the after-sales process for this price range.
