im not happy at all with the situation Katie never told us about the opening times at all ... u said on the phone "I signed a form last week which we also never did could you show me the proof when I come and pick buddy up because I did not sign any forms she just took buddy and left. Absolutely disgusting costumer service ill never be using u again its gone down hill big time

To be lied to over the phone to is a joke last Saturday I never signed nothing and Katie didnt mention anything either!! They sent us away wouldn't give me my dog back because it was 10am even though I dropped him off at the same time last week absolutely pathetic

We have an entire male…adolescent Doberman, as you can imagine he is most definitely a handful, a little chaotic and somewhat boisterous. We tried a number of places that simply wouldn’t take him or struggled to cope and kicked him out, we were left feeling like there was nowhere experienced enough to manage such a big demanding breed…. then on our search again we found Barlows! From the minute I spoke to Katy, I knew she understood my dog, and his breed. Katy and Jason both were so knowledgeable in dogs and their behaviour along with being understanding of my concerns due to our previous experiences. They build structure into the dogs days which for my doberman, was so important and all the dogs are so happy, with plenty of space to stay and play, along with endless love! Our dog is now a regular and often stays for the weekend. I can’t thanks these guys enough and I would highly recommend them! As an owner of a big intelligent powerful dog, having confidence in people to look after him and maintain his boundaries and structure, does not come easy, yet I love these guys and so does Kovu! So much so, he squeals as soon as we turn on the road down and nearly takes the gate down to get in and see his besties!

I was an onlooker this Saturday (25th March). I witnessed a number of the dogs jump over the fence, out of the field and onto the main road. 4 or 5 of them escaped and if it wasn’t for some local people stopping the traffic and trying their best to round up the dogs it could’ve been a different story. I hope all the dogs got back safe. I wanted to mention this as I know this business boasts a “secure field” which is obviously not the case. In the time I was a witness I never saw anyone from the kennels come over to help the locals. I don’t think, after seeing this, I will even consider using this service in the future.

Barlows were great they were really easy to arrange with and we found them to be great value. I got an immediate feeling that they love dogs from dropping my dog off, by the way they interacted with her and the other dogs that were around. They were great in following diet requirements and upon picking my dog up it was easy to see that she had been treated really well and that she’d had a great time with both the people and the other dogs.

They were great and would definitely recommend them.

Last time I went away I took my dog Remi to another kennels, they sent a picture where she looked scared with her hackles up and tail between her legs. Never again. My husband took her out and she went to stay at Barlows. I got videos where she was obviously very happy, running round, playing in the pool, chasing a ball.

Took her in for doggy day care this week and she couldn’t wait to get in, greeted Katie like a long lost friend and came home exhausted.

Going back there for the weekend and I bet if she knew she’d be excited.

The best care I could of wished for my gorgeous little Staffie kora. 5 star care given and all her needs met. I was given regular videos and photos to cheer me up whilst I was on holiday. Felt at ease that she was in good hands ❤️

Sam has been to other kennels as well as boarding & when we’ve collected him he’s usually seemed unhappy. When we dropped him off at Barlows we had to dodge 5 dogs vying to get in as they were so excited to see Katie! Sam went in happily. We saw videos of him being exercised/playing and he looked like he was living his best life! He came home super happy, fitter and with a really shiny coat. We’ve booked his next holiday there already!

I took my puppy there astird and Katie was amazing, the place is so clean and tidy and my puppy loves it. It's so nice to see her playing with all the other dogs

Katy is great with our puppy who loves going for the day. The facilities are really good, there is space for quiet time and a huge field for dogs to play together or be walked on a lead. We were recommended to try Barlow’s and would definitely recommend to other dog owners.

Amazing experience! Sent my dog here for a day. I messaged very last minute and we’re still able to book my dog in for the day. I were provided with updates and videos throughout the day which made me feel very at ease. I liked the fact that my dog was able to play and roam with other dogs, yet had the option to come away and be on his own too. My partner (who dropped him off) said that he were very impressed with where he were staying for the day. The prices are amazing too! I will definitely be back in touch very soon to book Rheo back in to Barlow Kennels for the day soon!

I love Barlows! I honestly cannot recommend the doggy daycare services enough. Katy is absolutely awesome! She’s looked after our working cocker spaniel, Lucy, since she was 13 weeks old and genuinely does an amazing job. Lucy loves every minute of her time there. Lucy’s a big softie and a bundle of energy and she comes home well exercised and happy after socialising with other dogs after every visit. Plus the facilities are fantastic! Thanks so much Katy!! 🙌🏻

Booked my two dogs in for day care whilst we where away on holiday, Katy reassured me they would be fine and they were, both tired at the end of each day after having fun packed days. They are already booked in for their next visit. Thank you 😊

Katy is excellent, my dachshund Ralph goes for daycare and he absolutely loves it - he always comes home exhausted from having so much fun playing. I always find it hard to trust people when it comes to your pet but with Barlows I’ve no worries, I’m so glad I found this place! Katy keeps you updated and puts your mind at ease which is just what you want - would definitely recommend 😊

Benji has just had a lovely 4 night stay with Katy at Barlows. It was clear to see he felt right at home and has enjoyed his stay, and has been well looked after. We received updates and photos of what Benji had been up to, and he’s enjoyed the secure field with the other dogs. It was easy to book the stay and Katy answered any questions and is clearly passionate about her job. The drop off and pick up was simple. Would recommend and will definitely be using again.

Our 11 month old British bulldog has just spent 12 nights here his 1st time away from home we went to Cyprus to get married. They were fab and sent videos of him having fun and put our minds at ease we knew he was being very well looked after. Would defo come back again if we ever needed to leave him again thank you

Our patterdale Blue has been going to Katy at Barlow boarding kennels twice a week and absolutely loves it. He gets plenty of exercise and attention and is always shattered when he comes home. Katy made me feel at ease when Blue first went and was so welcoming. She has a brilliant set up, loads of secure outdoor space for the dogs to run around.
Definitely recommend

My two boys go to doggy day care at Barlow Boarding Kennels and not only do they love Katy but they love their days spent there. They literally jump out of the car when we arrive. They love the huge exercise field which is totally pet safe and they love the well kitted out kennels when they come in for a rest. Katy is so caring and affectionate with all the dogs she has. I wouldn't go anhywhere else and would highly recommend her.

Where to start….. fantastic service, caring environment, wonderful facilities. Our cocker spaniel puppy loves his time with Katy and all his furry friends. As soon as we turn in the driveway he knows where he is going. Once out of the car there’s hardly time for a goodbye cuddle as he can’t wait to get inside to play with his furry friends. At pick up time it’s the same in reverse ‘oh hi mum, I’m too busy to come home yet!’ ……and just wants cuddles from Katy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Katy is so amazing with my puppy Bear. He loves going to see her and spending the day playing in the field with the other dogs. The kennels are clean and spacious and my pup always comes home tired after a fun day! Katy is flexible with her availability which is perfect for me when I need to book ad-hoc days or at short notice and her pricing is more than fair! I wouldn’t send my pup anywhere else now!

Professional and reliable service at a more than reasonable price, wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else!
