What a nightmare
What a nightmare. Firstly they had 6 weeks delay to get a surveyor to measure the windows, they sent the surveyor to the wrong address twice! . The receptionist was extremely rude about their mistake. Finally they ordered the windows and doors but while the surveyor was there I thought it would be best to add the flat doors on to prevent delays, in their installation and manufacture this caused more delays so what was supposed to be a 6 week turnaround turned into more 12 weeks. When the installers come I was hugely upset by the damage to the decor, rubbish off the windows were stuffed between my brick work, instead of in a bin bag and food left in my hallway which stank, they were going to screw doors shut as they didn’t have a lock, not allowing me access, this is wholly unacceptable. The damage throughout a newly decorated building not just to decor but to the sink, skirting boards, soft furnishings, but the doors opened the wrong way, windows forgotten the damage was colossal and there was no apology. And more delays were caused due to the order in part being wrong. The front door was supposed to be wheel chair accessible and it had this massive plastic facia on that the installer cut off with a hand saw damaging the metal thresh, scuffing it making it look scratched and far from new. There was no care for how it looks. They have sent me the Bill with no finishing inspection to make sure I am satisfied. Shaun was most unprofessional when I said to cancel the flat doors. Shaun has an excuse for every scenario and delay. The second team of fitters where cleaner and more careful however the main installation to the front the damage is done. I would have preferred to have spent a little more money to get a professional job with less stress this has caused me 3 days of additional redecorating when I could have been working. I’ve had to order new heaters as the original installers chucked away the heater remotes that cannot be bought separately, and my advertising signs as well as damaging my brand new sink! There was no care taken. I’ve had windows installed in my home address and there was limited damage however this was horrific. This company have gone a whole step further. They deflect by making out the customers are abusive when as a company they are incompetent. I’ve added the pictures of the damage for reference they also unable to spell a name on the invoice. The invoice lacks their bank details they are no trying to shout breach of contract giving less than a week to pay a bill in dispute even if they have given you the wrong bank details ! It’s a absolute joke. I would say save yourself the hassle and find a company that clearly are struggling not only with customer service, quality of delivery, they try to bamboozle you with contractual terms but won’t supply the contract ? They also say they won’t register your windows so much more.
