Mediocre support

..this review is only about the Cash Card side of Based. I didn't test the trading part.

11M in funding and support is pretty sad. Where did the money go, lol.

To get cashback on card spend or lower fx fees, you will need to stake some $BASED token, either ~800 USD worth or ~8,000 USD worth. But the benefits aren't that amazing. Cashback is capped at $20-100 per month even with that much staking.

The Good:
- Built on Hyperliquid, great if you're a non-custodial trader
- Crypto-to-USD conversion cost is ~1%, which is good comparing to the average of ~1.6% with other cards
- 170+ countries supported
- $11.5M Series A raised in Feb 2026 - strong beginnings

The Bad:
- No Apple Pay
- ATM Withdrawals not Enabled
- Monthly cashback caps are tiny
