More conversation ropics
What I miss the most is the conversations. The teachers are very nice, but it's always the same conversation between us.
I would somehow introduce the ability to develop small conversations based on pictures/sentences/stories. Things that are based on real life.
El mejor opción
Without question, Baselang is the best platform to learn Spanish that I have ever encountered.
The unlimited online tutoring for a fixed monthly rate is a bargain, (although it is quite costly), when you consider how many hours you study a day with it, you find you are getting tutoring at an impossibly low rate.
In my first month I “leveled up” so fast.
I’ve studied Spanish in High School and college, and still could not hold a basic conversation, (absolutely typical for most Americans, the way they teach it is so lacking in actual listening and speaking.) but after ONE month, I could scratch away at a almost understandable foray into very basic topics.
Fast forward to many lessons later, some immersion in Mexico, and more classes, and my professors are impressed with the fluency I have.
I still have some grammatical errors though, so I am studying more with Baselang before a return trip to Mexico. So far it has been very good to fine tune some things that I didn’t know I was doing wrong.
I often recommend this platform.
If there was something better I would recommend that, but there isn’t.
You get what you pay for.
Want to learn Spanish? Do baselang.
Want to waste your time? Do duolingo.
Lol. Ciao!
The platform really helps
Baselang is Amazing
Baselang is the best place that I've found for learning Spanish. They offer structure with flexibility and the instructors have been great. I originally planned to only use the service for the summer, but now I want to stay with it long-term.

I really enjoy my classes
I always enjoy my classes, meeting new and interesting teachers across Latin America, and learning more. This is by far the most effective language learning system I have ever used. I've been a student for several years now and I still love it!
Diana is patient and kind
Diana is patient and kind. She speaks clearly and fluently in both English and Spanish. Diana is amazing. I have been extremely lucky to have had incredible instructors from Baselang. If you are looking for someone with a great attitude, lots of patience, who is kind and caring, who is intelligent and funny, then Diana is your girl. 100% recommend her for your teacher!

Flexible class schedule is fantastic…
Flexible class schedule is fantastic and keeps me learning everyday. There is so much material, with the additional content for each topic, flash cards, and elective classes it’s easy to keep practicing! Teachers also use a variety of styles that make it easy to find multiple teachers who work well for any type of learner.
2 years now, and fluent
I have been a student at Baselang for 2 years now and here has been my experience:
1. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful
2. There is a wide variety of teachers available around the clock
3. The price is extremely competitive if you just take an hour of classes a day ($5-6/hour)
4. Many teachers are amazingly patient and knowledgeable. As an introvert, I'm pretty picky about who I spend my time talking to, and I've found some real gems.
Things I'd improve:
1. Update the curriculum for accuracy
2. Level out the electives to not over-focus on niche interests and allow students to see their official progress in electives.
It's really difficult for me to understand complaints from the very few disgruntled students. The price is fantastic, teachers are paid according to local economic demand, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and if you really want a very specific time and teacher you just have to grab it before someone else does (welcome to real life). I keep a rotating lists of 5-6 teachers that I've found that I love. Some are harder to schedule than others because they are in high demand. Pretty simple.
