Avoid Baashyaam Construction - Severe Quality Issues at Le Salech Apartments
I purchased an apartment in Baashyaam Construction's "Le Salech" project in Mevalur, Kanchipuram, handed over in 2020. From day one, the building has been plagued by major defects: crumbling walls that shed debris daily, severe water leaks during rains that damage interiors and electronics, and structural safety hazards like unstable balconies and cracking foundations. These issues pose serious health risks—mold from leaks causes respiratory problems for my family, and the crumbling materials create dust inhalation concerns.
Despite multiple complaints to Baashyaam, their response has been abysmal: delayed site visits, unfulfilled promises of repairs, and no compensation for damages. We've spent thousands out-of-pocket on temporary fixes while waiting for action that never comes. As of November 2025, nothing has improved, and the property value has plummeted.
This isn't isolated; other residents report similar nightmares. Baashyaam prioritizes sales over quality and customer safety. I strongly advise against buying from them—save yourself the headache and health risks. Demand better accountability from builders like this.
