Excellent service from start to finish. Jena was professional, polite and no ask was ever too much! Quotes were received quickly, amended (more times than I care to admit due my ever changing needs) and Jena was more than happy to support me, always welcoming and happy. One of the main reasons I selected this company to cater for my wedding was because the service Jena provided was exceptional, superior to all other companies I got quotes from. Thank you Jena, for making this process so easy, quick and pleasant. Really looking forward to the day and sampling my bespoke menu!

I recently hired this company to do the catering for my big 60th birthday party. The food was fresh, tasty and plenty of it. I chose afternoon tea for my catering and it was delicious. So many compliments about the food especially the salmon sandwiches and pork pie and also the cakes. The scones with butter, jam and clotted cream went down a treat but we had to wrestle the strawberries from my Grandaughters. Guests all wanted to take home a plate of food so they did. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again next time I need an event catered for. Very happy.

Unfortunately, our experience with the food fell short of expectations. We ordered the luxury finger buffet for a birthday party. The Indian selection was particularly disappointing—dry, lacking flavour, and not up to the standard we had hoped for. Despite requesting an allergen list in advance, none was provided, and the labelling on the food that did arrive was inadequate, making it difficult for guests with dietary requirements to choose safely. When the sandwiches were opened, the labels came off, leaving us unsure of what was what.
Overall, the taste of the food was quite bland, and the balance of items provided felt poorly planned. There were insufficient crisps for the number of people catered for, while the amount of sandwiches was excessive. Additionally, the chicken bites were unappealing in appearance and not appetising to guests.

The coronation chicken baguettes were the only item that guests genuinely enjoyed. Beyond that, we were left dissatisfied with the quality of the food and the overall attention to detail.
We hope meaningful improvements are made for future customers.

We have just booked these for our wedding and so far so good. The quote was very easy to understand and navigate. Thomas was always on the end of the phone/email to make sure everything went smoothly and make me feel at ease. If the rest of the staff are as pleasant and helpful then we are in for a treat. Absolutely outstanding service from my initial contact with Joanne ftom BBQS AND BUFFETS right through to the end. Fantastic food. Fantastic portions. The quality of the food was amazing. We opted for the tea party package. Truly magnificent. Alisha who attended the buffet presented the food to the highest degree. Alisha was a true perfectionist. The company made my husbands party a true delight .Thank you so much.

Responded very quickly to my initial enquiry with a full quote and various packages to choose from. Plenty of information gjven and there looks to be a good amount of flexibility. Very pleased so far.

We haven’t had our wedding yet, but I already feel so thankful to be working with Jen from Event Catering BBQs and buffets. From the very start, she has been nothing short of amazing. We hired BBQ & Buffet's to cater our wedding at Billingley Village Hall and they absolutely blew us (and our guests) away! The food was incredible flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented with many options.

Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Massimo our chef for the day was professional, friendly with amazing energy and on top of everything from setup to cleanup. He made the entire process seamless, allowing us to just enjoy the day.

Fantastic BBQ for my 60th birthday. Vikram made sure the food was ready by the time agreed. All the guests mentioned how great the food was. Great variety and very tasty. Some guests were vegetarian and gluten free but everything had been thought through. Guests were able to replenish their plates multiple times and Vikram was really helpful in explaining all the dishes to the guests. Nothing was too much trouble for Vikram. He worked tirelessly from midday to 6pm. He was an absolute star.

I would definitely use BBQ and Buffets again. I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday and the lovely food made it extra special.

We had the classic finger buffet delivered in advance of our small family wedding today.
The food arrived exactly when expected, well packaged and presented beautifully. The breads were lovely and soft, you could really tell the quality of the ingredients and the extra care put into the flavours such as in the egg mayonnaise.
The other savouries were lovely and again excellent quality - I feel like a cheap sausage roll is quite obvious but these were meaty, good ratio of pastry to meat and really tasty.
We added pizza bites which were very nice and nicely sized mini slices - we warmed these in our oven and they tasted great!
We also added desserts of Victoria sponge and chocolate brownie. The Victoria sponge was lovely, well made with nice filling and a lovely soft sponge. The chocolate brownies were to die for! So delicious, squidgy and sweet! I could eat 100!
Thank you so much for making our day 100 times easier but also feel so very special!

Ruined our wedding day! Booked this caterer with high hopes but they were hours late on the day which I appreciate can't always be helped, but turned up without an apology or explanation, no communication ahead about their lateness so we were left in the dark with hungry guests, didn't have any gas to cook food so they used my mum's and haven't replenished this, food was awful, chef was miserable. I tried to reason with them afterwards but, Emily admitted to not being aware of any issues so her team hadn't told her anything, and despite messages between them and my maid of honour on the day, we have been completely dismissed and advised she was satisfied with their teams' communication! Absolutely appalling service, people, company and food; I've never been so embarrassed, disappointed and disgusted.

Great service, food was lovely. Jess was our chef for the day, she turned up early and made sure everything ran smoothly. Would highly recommend. Thanks Jess :)

The BBQ last week was fantastic, and I just wanted to let you know that everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, and all of our guests were impressed with the quality and variety. The service was equally outstanding – everything was seamless, and Fin was very professional and attentive.

We booked a hot buffet plus pizzas for a family party for 60 people and were so impressed from the start of working with them. Their communication was very quick and simple, plus they were very flexible and adaptable to our needs. On the day itself the food was incredible and everyone was so impressed! Our chef Rowland was also very friendly and really represented the company well. We would definitely use them again and would recommend happily!

We had event caterers catering our wedding in August 2024! The food was fabulous. We had a hot pasta which was loved by everyone and then an Italian platter which was also great! Would recommend the company to anyone as they are super friendly, great with communication and very affordable.
