The first two and a half years of service from BeFibre were excellent; no technical issues, lightening fast speeds and simple, straightforward billing and contract renewals. Up until May 2026, this was a five-star service. Then I started to get intermittent faults on the connection that caused loss of internet connectivity for anything between 20 minutes and 8 hours at a time. I went through several cycles of the customer support process and patiently performed all of the actions requested (turn off and on, reset ONT, reset router) but the issue kept recurring, sometimes on a daily basis. Various root causes were suggested by technical support; the ONT box had developed a fault, there was a faulty splice somewhere on the fibre optic cable, etc. but the issue kept coming back. An engineer visit was arranged and the issue disappeared for a couple of weeks, but then came back with increasing frequency and duration. My internet connection has been down every evening for the last week, and when I tried to contact support this morning I was greeted with a recorded message stating that there are known issues in my area, so I figured there is no point trying to get someone to deal with my specific problem right now if the whole network is down in my town. I am very disappointed that this has been ongoing for two months with no resolution and a worsening service. After things seemed to improve following the engineer visit I renewed my contract for another 12 months, but if the situation isn’t resolved soon I will be seeking to cancel without financial penalty on the grounds that BeFibre are failing to provide the contracted service.

I would have put 5 star because the first year was awesome, no issue whatsoever.
1 router broke, they sent replacement straight away. so i signed back with them. now my height telecom router is defective(loose sync 3 to 6 times/day) so 20th of July first contact tech support should get back within 2 working day, 23th nothing, got back in touch .. again 2 days... now 28th nothing. now luckily i have a third party router that i managed to make work. now we both work for home so imagine the hassle without the router. simply not good enough in 2026 to leave people without stable connection for 8+ days because now it's escalation to management so that give them another 5 working days to get back to us.. a joke. next step is ombudsman and citizen advice/ trading standard to see if the contract is breached and i can look somewhere else.

System works well. Initial installation problem soon rectified. Technician made a mess of drilling through brick wall and pinching cable when fitting cover.

Do not use this company as their engineer who came out decided to drill 3 holes to put a bracket up on my neighbour's property without any permission when l asked him about this he just ignored me and drove off in his van. My neighbour is now seeking legal advice as this is civil trespassing and criminal damage and it is all on CCTV and I have been in touch with B Fibre a few times about this issue and yet to have a response from them. So I decided to cancel my subscription with them after 4 days of having them and they have tried hitting me with a £1100 bill when I am legally still within my 14 day cooling off period I will post the outcome of what happens. Please be aware of this company ............. just to give you a quick update. As you can see, this was posted on the 26/07/26 well on the 4/08/26 after the comment b fibre left.. They try to take out £1000 out of my bank account. And Still haven't been in touch about the damage they've done to my neighbour's property. A solicitor as written to them now it is absolutely appalling the way they think they can treat people going into someone's bank account. Knowing they have no right to it is fraudulent the date l start the contract was on the 20/07/2026 and l cancelled it using my cooling off period on the 24/07/2026 and no one has been in touch to discuss the damage. Their incompetent engineer done going on to a neighbour's property and drilling holes in their wall when they had no right to

Not happy with customer service./billing
The call centre noise in the background made it very difficult to hear and I couldn’t understand the person I was speaking to.
Had to give up in the end.
Second call -
Waited half an hour to get through then the person I was speaking to said she was cutting out the background noise but kept me hanging on with long silences so that I didn’t know if I was connected or not.
Even though I kept asking for her to respond to my question, she kept telling me to look at my invoice but would not explain why it was still wrong. Definitely not the service it used to be. Maybe someone would get in touch with me after seeing this !!!

I have had nothing but problems with this company, when my insulation day came, one of their contractors came to install the broadband, he first ask where my bt broadband is, I showed him and in quite a rude voice he said (well it can’t go there) so I asked why he said that the cable comes in on the other side of the room, I told him that I have no power socket there and he reply well that’s where it has to go, it was Friday afternoon around 3pm, he gave the impression he did not want to be here, he then said who laid the brick path I said I had no idea, we’ll I can’t do it as they have bricked over the pipe I need, by this time I had had enough, so I told him to go, when he left I got the brick out in a min, so I rang up and complained, I not sure that complaint went anywhere, I did get a text saying sorry they could not install it and that someone would be in contact soon, no one called, I then rang again and sent two emails, no replies were received, I then rang up one more time and after discussion I managed to get and install date of the 22/07/26, feeling quite pleased that at last I was going to get my broadband I thought that was that, but no, the following day I got a text to say it had been cancelled again, this is such a bad service I’m amazed if they have any customers if they treat them like this,

I always have a good, quick connection so no problems with that. After 2 years and out of contact I noticed a substantial increase in my monthly payment. I contacted customer service, spoke with Nicola L who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Nicola L offered various packages if I wanted to renew my contract. There was no hard sell, just honest information. I went from my old 700 package to a 1gb package and reduced my monthly subscription significantly. The process was hassle free and quick. Thanks for your help Nicola L

Be Fibre are honestly pants. The internet connection drops out CONSTANTLY. We will definitely move away when our contract is up. The range in the house is crap and it drops out so much it's affecting our heating as this is also ran off the WiFi. Not great when you have young children. Our thermostat is no more than ten meters from the router and it's just been relentless "have you reset it" I wouldn't recommend them.

Good response to any of my problems after a few issues at the start of my contract, broadband working fine now, but can be a bit slow sometimes.

Used to be dood. Now awful. Broadband hasnt worked for a week now only able to speak to foreign call centres who promise the technical team will be in touch in 24 hours. Noone calls or sorts it. No choice but to cancel direct debit and find a new provider

If I could give red flags and warning signs I would rather than a star. I have been waiting for my fibre installation to be completed since the 19th of June and this is written on 17 July. Honestly shocking that they can't complete a simple installation when they are already set up in our area. Since I've been threatened with penalty fees if I go somewhere else at this point I am stuck waiting on their incompetent teams to eventually show up at one of the many appointments they arrange and then cancel at the end of the business day completely disregarding that you make an effort to be home for the appointment. Go somewhere else. These guys are not worth your time money and effort. Honestly WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Flee you fools!

Zero customer service, used to be fabulous then they grew and moved the call centre and chat to far away lands with very poorly broken English being spoken and typed. USELESS, can’t put you through to accounts or a manager, they have to send everyone a message and first it was 24hr then 48hrs todays they say within 5 days for a response. DRRADFUL and still waiting
