Cheap, Quick and high quality materials and Sound!
I used the Be‑Tunes PRO BT‑14 around ten times, and from the very beginning experienced connection dropouts. In complete silence, there is also a constant background hiss, which noticeably affects the listening experience. For earphones advertised with an RRP of €119, I expected much better technical performance and overall quality.
The most serious issue for me, however, is the material choice of the metallic end caps and charging contacts. After wearing the earphones, I repeatedly developed a visible skin rash on both earlobes. Only after several inquiries did the manufacturer confirm that these parts are made of a nickel‑coated zinc alloy. Since nickel allergies are very common, it is surprising and disappointing that such a material is used in an area that inevitably comes into direct skin contact. Competing manufacturers avoid this or design their products in a way that prevents such reactions.
The customer support team was polite but ultimately not solution‑oriented. It took several messages before the material question was even answered, and no goodwill gesture was offered, despite the fact that I had only worn the product a few times and had clearly described a health‑related issue. The strict reference to their 30‑day return window — long expired — felt unhelpful and dismissive in this context.
To be fair, the sound quality itself is decent, as long as you can wear the earphones without experiencing a reaction.
Due to the technical shortcomings, the use of nickel, the lack of transparency, the unnecessarily high RRP, and the unsatisfactory customer support, I unfortunately cannot recommend this product.
Product works fine. Had an issue with chargingpod - was replaced within 2 days! Super smooth and uncomplicated.
