Scammed me of 650 ponds. Once of an upfront payment of 350 pound for website redesign and a second upfront payment, 2 weeks later for a plugin, (that needed to be purchased, before any details for weights and measures, could be added at checkout)???????
A test site was set up but never got very far. Even after 2 months of email tennis!!!!!
Do NOT go near these people!!!!!!

AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Beacon is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They are total scam artists. I started working with them at the end of February for a project that was supposed to take 3 weeks. By mid-May, they still hadn’t finished. They kept lying to me, saying the site would be done "next week" for months. The website they eventually presented was an absolute joke—I could have done a better job in my sleep. Despite giving them detailed briefs and examples, what they delivered was complete garbage.

Their communication is horrendous. I had to constantly chase them for updates about the site. They would only do any work when I complained about how long it was taking, which is ridiculous when a project that was supposed to take 3 weeks turned into 3 months. During this whole period, they only completed 20% of the website, and it was a disaster. There were spelling mistakes, different font styles and sizes, banners in the wrong place, buttons on the literal edge of the screen, and the design was completely different from the extremely clear instructions and examples I provided in my website brief documents (I created 4-5 that covered every part of my website).

Both Joshua and Neil use the money they scam from people to take apparent holidays to 'America' every other month. They pass you back and forth between each other and fail to communicate internally about specific things I told them. They claim to have a "whole team" working for them, but that’s a lie. It's just the two of them running this scam. I asked several times for the name of another person on their team, and they couldn’t even give me one. It’s honestly laughable.

To make matters worse, they made racist comments, telling me to add white models to my website when my business is a wig company specifically for black women. The so-called owner and managers, Joshua and Neil, are fake names. They’re con artists based in Pakistan using a fake UK number to scam customers. They’ve changed their business name multiple times to avoid being caught.

When I asked for a refund because of their terrible work and lack of progress, they were incredibly rude and unprofessional. They argued with me on WhatsApp and Zoom, giving every excuse under the sun to avoid paying back the £800 they owe me. Neil, the supposed manager, threw a fit and started ignoring my messages when I exposed them for the scammers they are. When I told him I would seek legal aid if he refused to give me a refund, he accused me of 'blackmailing' the company for exposing their lies. Trust and believe everything I’m saying and the bad reviews below me are 100% facts. They even write fake positive reviews for themselves to outweigh the bad ones because they have a 0% satisfaction rate.

Stay far away from Beacon. Do not trust their fake portfolio on their website—they didn't create any of it. These con artists will rip you off, waste your time, and cost you a fortune. They’re nothing but lying, racist thieves. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs.

The only thing Joshua and Neil are qualified in is scamming, gaslighting, and preying on small business owners. They have no skills or experience in website design.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They drag you in with lots of promises and reduced price offers (e.g. 5 years of maintenance) but don't bother to deliver what you ask for. Then they tell you that there is a problem for which you have to pay more. This will continue until you stop paying.

Avoid.

Scam company operating under the…

Scam company operating under the umbrella of multiple companies such as Beacon Book Writing. They have now changed their address in London to Edinburgh as they know that the authorities are close to catching them. Writing their own fake reviews and getting Trustpilot to delete genuine 1 star reviews.

STAY AWAY!!!

Beacon website design scam

This is a scam company operate with multiple websites: beacon website design, orbix tech llc, beacon publisher ltd, beacon book writing.
I searched the company house for orbix tech registration as requested by my bank but could not find it. Neil then provided me with a different company registration number ( orbix technology ltd in the uk which I called after paid quoted fees and found that it does not belong to beacon website design ). His phone 07441 349125 number was identified as a scam on true caller and network provider is STour marine ltd who provide uk virtual phone number to individuals live abroad.

I was quoted £4800 with 50 percent paid upfront to start the project. Neil contacted me over weekends to chase payment and when he took deposit he disappeared.

I paid £2000 and then Neil Broz put me in touch with someone else with gmail email address as Neil flew for a month to Singapore but it turns out he is in Pakistan. Later on from what app screenshot I found that he is in the united state with a phone number in uk!!!

Then nothing was received in service. Neil provided a web template looked like a child under training created it and then apologised for the inconvenience and he will contact the developer on 3 occasions but nothing was updated based on my instruction. Hence I realised it is a scam
It is one man company scamming aroond the world with a UK company recently registered in the UK and llc company incorporated in usa. Neither is any of them a genuine company.

I asked to speak to his developer but no response then I asked for refund ( with reference to 100 guarantee money back if customer not satisfied) but he asked to go for legal action. He claimed that no refund as i changed my mind which it is not the case.

Neil Broz was calling me on weekend when money was outstanding and when refund was needed he ignored my call

He kept claiming that he has finance department and management team but no contact details. They are not exist.
