I bought a pricier "genuine" lamp, as advertised. Incidentally I am a professional video calibrator. Upon receiving it I put it to the test. The measurements were all way wrong, all over the place. Unusable. No way this was a genuine lamp, not even an average fake lamp. I am returning it.
The lamp they sold me was a fake and was so dim that we are barely able to see the screen at night time. They refused to replace and claim that we have used it more than the allotted time, total use was less than 6 hours when I contacted support. I learned an expensive lesson.
