Misleading advertising on website and in store. No credit or refund offered.
This small business named “Be A Star Bridal“ in Cheltenham would not offer me a refund or even a credit for a change of mind and a flaw found in the gown immediately after purchase. I returned the gown less than 48 hours after buying it, and their website stated that you can return gowns within 7 days. They said they couldn’t refund for a change of mind on items that were on the sale rack but there was no tag on the dress stating it was for sale, nor were there any Sale signs anywhere near this rack of dresses that told me it was a sale item and their could be no refunds. None of the retail girls in the store told me of the flaw, nor that it was a sale item and couldn’t be returned. Furthermore, they just verbally told me the price. I have been misled and deceived and I have never experienced such poor customer service. A simple refund of a $250 dollar dress was all that they needed to do. I won’t be returning to this store and I warn all other shoppers to beware.
