The app doesn't deliver what it promises at all. They say the first month is free and then they charge €40, but that's not how it was in my case. It's practically impossible to get a refund, communication is poor and they didn't refund my money. My experience is very negative and I don't recommend this service.

so disappointed. they focus more on charging users after the trial instead on creating a good product and attract real users, which are happy to pay for the subscription.
tested the product, did not liked it, got charged after the trial and the customer service declined my refund request.
there are way better products with way better customer service than this

Unfortunately, my experience with Beautiful.ai was very disappointing. The service, which markets itself as an innovative presentation tool, in reality, deceives its customers. It masks itself with attractive promises of ease and quality, but the end result is presentations that are incredibly low quality.

The biggest issue is that the presentations look black and white, lacking any creativity or color vibrancy. Instead of engaging visuals, I received plain and dull slides that come across as unprofessional and boring. This completely diminishes the value of the entire presentation and disengages the audience.

If you are looking for a tool that truly elevates your presentations, Beautiful.ai is definitely not the right choice. It’s better to invest your time and energy into other solutions that actually deliver quality and visual appeal. This service feels more like a scam, and I do not recommend it to anyone who wants professional and colorful presentations.

This program is one of the worst programs I have ever had to try to navigate. The platform changes consistently and becomes less and less intuitive. If you want to do anything outside of the Smart templates, it makes it impossible. If you do not use the Smart templates, you cannot export to PowerPoint to share with a client to review and give edits because the format will stick. Recently, they changed how you can collaborate with others at your company, so we can no longer share slides between each other and have to rebuild entire presentations to avoid having to upgrade our entire subscription. I have found the AI feature can help summarize and start a presentation, but it is repetitive in how it formats information and is not visually compelling. Overall, I end up doing three times the amount of work I would typically do on PowerPoint trying to navigate this very poor software.

This tool has increased my productivity. Slides are professional and look great so I can focus on content rather than form. Many templates and examples to choose from and get started. The AI is a mixed bag but sometimes it works well. A good choice of stock images

I have a love-hate relationship with Beautiful AI. Yes, it makes great looking slides easily. However, it is super buggy. I can't log in on different devices because I constantly get taken back to a screen that seems to be trying to sign me up again, and I can't progress past the third window. Also, I use it for tables mostly and can't edit text in a cell without deleting the whole lot and starting again. They need to fix the basics given the very high price point.

Update: After further discussions, the support team reached out and agreed to issue a refund. I appreciate that they ultimately resolved the situation fairly.

I was charged for an automatic renewal of my Beautiful.ai subscription without receiving any prior email notification. This is not compliant with EU consumer protection laws, which require clear information before any renewal.

I immediately contacted support to request a refund, but was told that it was too late because of a 24-hour refund policy. Such a policy is unreasonable when the customer is never informed that a renewal is coming.

This lack of transparency and refusal to take responsibility does not match the image of a professional company. I strongly advise future customers to be careful and to check their billing settings closely, as renewals seem to occur silently.

If Beautiful.ai wants to maintain trust among European users, they should comply with EU regulations and handle refund requests more fairly.

Charged me full yearly fee on day 1 of trial. Tried reaching via chat and mail but no response from them. Looks like a fraud. Will raise a charge back from card company

Horrible experience , this is a fraud company and charged me for a whole yearly subscription without informing me. I tried to cancel it and there customer care person - Ken - was blunt in saying I can do anything I want but they won’t refund this. I didnot even use this website. Please beware of this company.

The overall experience was good, I just don’t need it personally. I signed up for a free trial but found it difficult to cancel in time. I was charged 144€ for an annual subscription and have requested a refund in the said 24 hours. I hope that they will respond. I’d be happy to give them a better review as I can see that it wasn’t all my fault.

the whole problem with these type of companies is they advertise "one price" and then when you checkout its the "yearly" price, not the monthly price! In the case of this company, they literally multiply the month price by 3.5 X times and you end up paying significantly more than "as advertised" where's the FCC when it comes to this "false advertising"?

Customer Service is nonexistent. No phone support, only email and chat, neither of which responds. No ability to change your email address or the account you are using. I tried to change this after updating my email, but learned I couldn't, which resulted in losing several months' worth of presentations and my prepaid yearly subscription. There's no way to cancel future billing because I don't have the email—a poor way of doing business and zero support.

was kind of blown away by this platform. the templates are amazing. so many nice inspirational ideas, very easy to tweak colour schemes, adjust layouts, an endless bank of slide templates, infinite bank of stock images.

Had a somewhat frustrating experience with this company. Customer service did not respond to my questions. Account did not provide the features I paid for. Ultimately got a refund, which is much appreciated.

I’m 90% sure I canceled my Beautiful.ai subscription the same day I tried the service, but I was still charged for the annual plan the next day. I noticed the charge and contacted support right after, explaining the situation and requesting a refund, since I haven’t used the service since that day.

I liked the product, but it’s disappointing to get charged after canceling. I hope the team reviews my case and helps resolve this issue soon.

I love Beautiful.ai. As a solopreneur with a thriving consulting business, creating decks from scratch has always been a time-consuming task. That is, until Beautiful.ai came along. I feed it what I need, plug it in, and it creates a gorgeous presentation. I do tweak things here and there, but at least it gives me the bones to work with, saving me so much time!

easy to use for someone who doesn't know how to use Adobe. As a one-woman show, I don't have a budget for hiring designers yet, so I have to figure it out myself. I've made so many great pitches with this software. Thanks :)

One of the worst experiences I've had with a piece of software in recent memory. The fact that this company has any users at all given their terrible product and non-existent customer service is remarkable.

I wanted to test this out for cleaning up presentation layouts and started a free trial to explore the tool. The UI feels like something from 1999 and the results were generic and not even close to what I was looking for. On that first day I deleted my account and cancelled the trial since it was clear Beautiful AI couldn't deliver on the "Beautiful" part of their name.

Imagine my surprise when several days later I see they've charged me for a subscription, even though I no longer had an account. Now it's been over a week waiting to hear back from their customer service to get this resolved.

Avoid using beautiful ai at all costs unless you also want to pay for something you're not even using

Beautiful AI is user-friendly - it works very intuitively. I had doubts at first, but can't do without it now. Makes presentation fun and easy.
