As per previous reviews, Avoid Avoid Avoid. Make a purchase and you’re sneakily enrolled into a paid-for membership where they charge you €9.95 per month. At no stage do they ever contact you to confirm this, or mention it in any email. If you also get caught out by this, cancel the card they’re using to charge you, unless you knowingly and willingly signed up for this.
I bought deodorant from this website on 9th June 2023. What I did not realise at the time was that by purchasing from beautypit.com, you are automatically enrolled in a membership with a recurring monthly charge.
Once my bank advised me where these charges were coming from, I set about trying to cancel the subscription. That was an exercise in worry and frustration. I began contacting them on 1st August by
1. 5 emails-no replies
2. Numerous phone calls to their number in England, no answer
3. Their own website. Despite my clicking the cancel subscription button, it continued to show a pending cancellation message for a further 2 weeks until 15th August.
Because of beautypit.com’s total lack of engagement with me, and given that they had my credit card details, I took the ultimate step of cancelling the credit card.
It took beautypit.com 15 days to contact me, not the 24 hours mentioned in their website.
My basic mistake was in not checking with Trustpilot before engaging with this website. Had I done so, I’d never have dealt with beautypit.com , thereby saving myself a lot of worry and aggravation, not to mention the two monthly charges deducted from my credit card.
Be warned, steer clear.
Sent an emails and two reminders to you and still no reply.
Stop charging me for something I never signed up for! Now stop sending me bloody emails to remind me of scam the company is.
Pure scammers, definitely dodgy...who puts in membership in a sneaky way like this!!!!
AVOID THIS WEBSITE
My application to unsubscribe was not confirmed or processed leading to money continually taken from my Credit Card account. the matter is still being dealt with by my CC company.
I never signed up for membership but was is charged on the 1st of June and July, asked for refund and ignored, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND DEFINITELY NOT TRUSTWORTHY.
Received my order but I had to email them for a tracking number as heard nothing after original email. When you buy something on this website you automatically become a member, membership is free for the first 14 days and then 9.95 per month after. Make sure you read the terms and conditions. I cancelled my membership but even found that a bit hard.
I’ve been charged twice for this purchase another €10 popped up on my statement after already paying for product and delivery. Please look into this and refund and if you have signed me up for subscription please cancel
