Received a beginning subscription as a Christmas gift last year. The experience has gotten increasingly better with time. Shipping costs have been reduced in the last few months. You can read the ratings and reviews on your beers of interest. If you take the time to customize the shipment - as they allow and encourage-you can get a variety of excellent beers it would be difficult to source otherwise. Not cheap, but probably reasonable for the service/product they provide.

I have really enjoyed the recommendations from Beer Drop. They have exposed me to new beers across the U.S and even internationally. I also appreciate the flexibility to select different beers to the extent a recommendation is not exactly my style.

I've had two orders so far; both were easy to complete and delivered on time and as expected. It's been easy to substitute items in the orders and the selection available is quite good

I have enjoyed being able to try a variety of beers. They have a large selection, though sometimes the upcharge for some beers is quite high ($14 dollars extra for one of my choices in my last box). I definitely enjoy the skip month feature so you're not locked in when you won't be home.

I love getting and tasting beers from other parts of the country at a reasonable price.

I have been a Beer Drop customer for years now. I love the option to receive beers that I'd never be able to find around my area. I also like that they try to pick beers for you based on what you selected as styles you enjoy.
The only thing that bums me out is that when I first started, they used to send a crowler every few months along with your order. If they continued doing that, I would give 5 stars.

Delivery was right on time with nice selection of beers that I will enjoy.

I've been a subscriber for 18 months now. It is so convenient and a nice way to keep my beer fridge stocked with a variety of styles and brands that I can't always find locally. They make it very easy to adjust preferences or skip a box. I have gifted a box as well and got great feedback from the recipient.

I liked getting my first drop with the beers I selected to try And enjoyed them with family. The second drop didn't sem to let me choose so not sure what I got. Maybe make of smaller of everything 2 months? That's a lot of beer!

Received Beer Drop as a gift a number of years ago.It has been fantastic. Never an issue with shipping, and I get to drink beers from all over the country. I put today's date, but have been getting beer from beer drop for a couple years now.

My wife got me this as a birthday present and I could not be happier. Beer selections have been fantastic!
I love getting to sample brewers from around the nation.
We always look forward to our next batch!

They have a great range of beers and convenience for swapping out beers you may not want for ones you do.

If you are a beer explorer (how many Untappd checkins do YOU have?) this is the perfect subscription. Just got my first box and loved the variety and options to have something unique. Appreciate the ability to adjust the styles.

Overall good experience that I haven't found in other beer subscriptions. I love that you can select beers or swap them out, but I wish there was more selection. Many times I've attempted to get a new set of recommendations only to receive the same beers over again. If this is due to my preferences it would be nice to indicate that on the site. Also, ideally there could be an option for a single beer instead of 2. Shipping leaves something to be desired as the beer usually shows up very warm considering the cost to ship. The website usability is difficult at times. Things don't always load properly and it's hard to tell how your order is going to be modified before you make a selection. Also, the mobile web experience isn't very performant and my sessions aren't always properly tracked. Again, still one of the best experiences I've had with a subscription for the cost and will continue to use when the drops are good!

I have had Beerdrop for several years now and it has been great! I love that I can select the styles that I like and easily switch out the selections based on my preferences. Beerdrop is great for trying beers from all across the country!

Had a variety of regional craft beers to try, easy to skip or select week of delivery with subscription, and arrived as expected. Was able to have a nice tasting night with friends.

I love that you can pick & choose your beer flavors as many clubs don't give you options. My 1st order placed had issues so ordered again and finally received a 1.5 months later. The website seems buggy and half a** works it seems though with plenty of error messages along the way. Hopefully the business can figure some things out because I love the fact you have options to chose from and can actually find beer varieties that I like.

Delivery takes a little while, but great beer selection. My husband liked being to try many different beers.

Purchased a subscription for my husband for Christmas several years ago. Experience has been OK; not great. My husband generally likes lagers, pilsners and stouts which I indicated when I purchased it. His recommendations often contain IPAs and chocolate/coffee/pumpkin beers, which he would never drink. When I try to swap out beers, choices are very limited and often involve a big up charge.

I once tried contacting their customer service and it was problematic. No number to call…I could only email them.
