Beer Sniffers 

Ordered 8th July and.......nothing.nada... Feeble response email to several attempted calls and emails saying the order was out of stock but would be shipped that night (convenient) along with 'extras' to make up for it. That was a week ago and of course, nothing.

If you've ordered from this site, do a charge back through your bank. They will never arrive.

After 8 days of I phoned (voicemail). Emailed: took SIX to reply. Said order would be “resent”. No clue what it meant. 1 MONTH later I put them on NOTICE. I gave 3 choices, beer, refund, court. They failed to reply. I sent them the small claims court forms & gave them ONE more chance to resolve or I'd proceed to court. FIVE days later they email & say they "tried" to refund but it won't go through. THEN I get THREE emails in a day. They're chatty now they know I WILL take them to court. Had to give them my bank details because they couldn't issue a refund without messing it up. Took me 101 days to get my money back. To ANYONE whose experienced this you MUST search “small claims court N1 claim form”, fill it in, send it to them & then watch them return emails.

At EVERY level of my interaction they showed nothing by incompetence, laziness, disrespect & blatant stupidity. DO NOT sit back & accept a company failing to deliver YOUR goods or refund.

Never got a dispatch email! Not ONCE did they say “we shipped order". That tells me everything I need to know. They didn't ship the order!

I sent an order in February and my money was taken. I never heard any more despite sending several emails. I had bought from them a year earlier but will never use again. They are an insult to the customer.

This is a scam company - stay away!
I placed an order and received a confirmation email. No further communication at all since and no idea of any date for delivery given. I've made several calls all of which go to their voicemail which pleasantly claims they're busy packing beers into boxes!! There is no way this company is legit. Do yourself a favour and don't order from them.

Ordered gift set 6 weeks ago. No emails, no items received. Called 3 weeks ago and was told the order shows as missing on their tracking and to expect a refund. No refund, no beer. I've been chasing them daily for the last 2 weeks (text, call, email) they simply ignore me.

What a weird experience. Ordered 5 beers. Recieved no email confirmation. Recieved 8 beers. 3 of the ones I ordered and 5 random. No explanation. Just different beers. Luckily I think I will like them, unluckily the one beer I wanted, the entire reason I ordered anything... was not included in the delivery.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have ordered from here for several years and they were great but this time I have had zero communication, no one will answer the phone and the number listed on the website for refunds took me to a company specialising in jigsaw puzzles. I am very very annoyed and will be taking steps with my bank to achieve a full refund. This is such a shame as they had been great previously. I just wish I had looked at recent reviews before ordering again.

Pleasantly surprised. I was a bit worried after reading the reviews here as I ordered without checking the company out. They were cheaper than others. I received no confirmation and no delivery notification but beers arrived within a couple of weeks. Packaging wasn’t great but none were damaged

Last ordered from this company in 2022 with excellent service, and super quick delivery.

Something has gone horribly wrong as they are taking your money but not delivering and not responding to email. The phone line is live but never answered. Messages not returned. The only option I have is to try and reclaim via my credit card company.

Look at all the reviews from the last 12 months, there's loads of cases like this. Even Trust Pilot reports that the rating they display is false and breaches their guidelines.

Update: Was contacted after this post and the order was sent out, however around a third of the bottles ordered were substitutes. The price paid was effectively the same no at least I wasn't short changed. I've upped the rating from one to two as I've kept the delivery BUT its a competitive market and will look elsewhere going forward.

Ordered 16 bottles of beer at the end of Feb. It is now mid-Apr and there’s no sign. An order was supposedly sent by DPD but was destroyed due to the parcel leaking. Out of about eight attempts at emailing and phoning, I’ve had one response telling me they would re-send my order. It’s now been radio silence again for weeks. I’ve just raised a dispute with my bank. I’m £75+ out of pocket.

Wish I had seen this before paying and not receiving any email confirmation or the goods. I have called and left messages and emailed and no reply.
This is fraud.
This company needs to be reported.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
I ordered stupidly having not checked Trust Pilot first, dont make my mistake! I never received order confirmation and when purchasing the website processed my order twice which I was not aware of until chekcing my bank balance. 2 Weeks had passed and still nothing so I e-mailed and was promised a refund for one of the orders and additional beers as compensation. A further week went by and again another complaint, however they processed for immediate dispatch which I received 2 days later. Order came in dented and damaged boxes originally intended for transportation of French Fries! Beers missing that I ordered and compensated as promised but with duplicates of what I did not order. Still no refund so have contacted consumer ombudsman and also e-mailed a further complaint and again still no refund as promised.

Also the negative reviews on here are 100% legit and any positive reviews are fraudulant and Trustpilot themselves have acknowledged this on their website.

I ordered from Beersniffers 16/12/2025 and have yet to receive any confirmation that the beers have been shipped, or any response to my chase email. I feel like I've been scammed out of my money and I'm really disappointed. Do not order from here

Order never arrived. Don't answer the phone and ignored my emails. Won't use them again.

I ordered beers mid - December, circa £35. The payment was immediately taken but I still have not received the beers. I have tried calling and emailing and get no response.

In Dec I ordered Belgian Beer specifically for New Years Eve. It didn’t come on time and I couldn’t find a confirmation email of my order. The order eventually arrived early Jan with only one type of beer I recognised. I had ordered 4 types we really love. So I checked for my order confirmation and I couldn’t find it and on reading all the other reviews it seems that no one gets one! I emailed twice about having received the wrong beer and still no reply. Won’t use again.

I had (and am still having) a terrible experience with Beer Sniffers. I ordered 13x bottles for c.£60 in October 2025. The order arrived promptly but with only around half of the beers I had ordered. The rest of the order, up to the value of just under what I had paid, was made up of a number of beers that I did not order and would not have ordered. They made no effort to email or phone in advance of doing this to check that I consented to the substitutions nor to offer me the option of a refund, in direct contravention of their own terms and conditions. After two emails, I eventually got a response, suggesting I keep the beers I did not order (and did not want) as an apology, and promising to send the beers I ordered asap. I waited a month and nothing arrived. After a couple more emails, they replied early in December to say it would be sorted out that day and that I would receive an email to keep me updated. It is now a month and a half later, I have sent numerous further messages, and have neither heard anything nor received either the beer or a refund. Everything about this was awful. I feel completely ripped off as I ended up paying for things I didn't order and didn't want. There are plenty of good beer companies out there. Don't use this one under any circumstances.
