Disappointing
I purchased an ND2 bait boat through an approved supplier and distributor who also fitted the sonar. Since then, ND Tackle has changed ownership several times and is now BeeTackle.
Unfortunately, the boat's main motherboard failed. After waiting around a month for the replacement board, I fitted it myself. However, I then discovered that I could no longer transfer or re-register the Autopilot feature that I had already paid for because it was linked to the original motherboard.
That is extremely disappointing. When a product requires a warranty repair or replacement part, customers should not lose access to software features they have legitimately purchased. Those features should be transferable following a genuine hardware failure.
I appreciate that BeeTackle is under new ownership and may not be responsible for decisions made by previous management. However, from a customer's perspective, the experience has been poor. The ND brand had already developed a reputation within the carp fishing community for inconsistent customer service and communication, and unfortunately my experience has done little to change that perception.
The boat itself has some excellent features, but the after-sales support and approach to resolving this issue have left me feeling that the business looks for reasons not to fulfil reasonable customer expectations rather than trying to help loyal customers. I hope BeeTackle takes the opportunity to improve this under the new ownership.
