WarningRecovery Scam – Paid for services that were never provided

I initially contacted BE Conflict Management Inc. (bekm.us) for help recovering money from a previous scam. I paid USD 5,787.71 according to their invoice BEV-2026/148.

After the payment was made, I changed my mind and decided not to proceed. I clearly requested a full refund. No contract or engagement agreement was ever signed by me, and no services were provided or started.

The company (Ben Ecker) confirmed in writing that they received the full payment and promised to initiate the refund immediately.

It has now been more than a week since their last email, and they have mostly stopped responding. Their latest message claimed a refund of only USD 5,037.71 could not be processed and asked for my bank details again — even though they already have all the information from the original transfer.

This feels like a classic recovery scam: taking money from victims with promises of legal help, then refusing to refund or provide any real service.

I strongly advise others to stay away. I am currently escalating this through Florida Attorney General, CFPB, and other authorities.
