Belfastcausewaytours Reviews

Absolutely perfect day on the Antrim
Coast! They are the best of the best Book this tour You will be delighted!!

Brian, the driver of the day, picked us up at the ship. He knew we would be there an hour earlier and adjusted the pickup time.
We had such a nice trip! Saw so many beautiful things of Northern Ireland. Went to a great place for lunch near the Giant Causeway, saw loads of places where Game of thrones was filmed and had a Whiskey tasting. My mother (89) and I loved this trip. Thank you again Brian.

Best excursion of our cruise! Knowledgeable driver/guide. We will be back in 2027!!

We booked a private tour with Brian Sloan’s Belfast Causeway Tours in April of 2026. There were 6 of us on this tour. Brian was very easy to communicate with through emails and Messenger when booking, payment, and sharing information about the tour. Joe was our driver/ tour guide. He arrived promptly at our ship. His vehicle was clean, comfortable and he was a great driver. Joe has a great sense of humor which made our tour lots of fun. He is very knowledgeable of the areas we visited. We saw so much more than we would have on one of our cruise excursions. When we made a stop for a bathroom break at a convenience store, Joe surprised us as he bought snacks and drinks for us to enjoy as we continued on our tour. We visited castles, beautiful countrysides & seasides, as well as the Giants Causeway, enjoyed a delicious lunch at an old pub, a stop at distillery for a whiskey tasting, plus other interesting places. We got back to our ship with plenty of time to board. Joe was the gracious Irish host as he gave each of us a little gift to remember our day with him. We highly recommend Belfast Causeway Tours!

We had such a fantastic experience with Belfast Causeway Tours on our first visit to Belfast that when our cruise itinerary unexpectedly changed due to rough seas, bringing us back to Belfast for a second visit, we knew exactly who we wanted to book with again!

With less than 48 hours’ notice, Belfast Causeway Tours was able to arrange another tour for us, confirming our request within just four hours of receiving it. We were so impressed with their quick response and willingness to accommodate us on such short notice!

Our first tour was with Declan, who was absolutely outstanding. This time, we were joined by four friends who hadn’t been with us on the first tour, and our guide was Thomas McAt. We were curious how taking essentially the same tour twice would compare, and we certainly weren’t disappointed!

Because our ship arrived at 8 a.m. rather than 10 a.m. as it had on our first visit, we had more time to explore. Thomas made excellent use of that extra time, allowing us to spend longer at several stops, particularly the spectacular Giant’s Causeway. We revisited many of the same beautiful places, but hearing more about them from Thomas and getting a slightly different perspective made everything just as interesting the second time around. We also enjoyed some new stops, including Bushmills Distillery and Dunluce Castle.

Both Declan and Thomas were excellent guides, each bringing his own personality, knowledge, and perspective to the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed both tours, and the fact that we could take essentially the same tour twice within a couple of weeks and enjoy it just as much the second time says a lot about the quality of Belfast Causeway Tours.

We can’t recommend this company highly enough. Two fantastic experiences with two excellent guides. Another 10+ experience!
