Pretty but Made in China
I needed new mugs & had criteria:

Spent about 30 mins researching websites & various brands before settling on Belleek. Was charmed by description of their factory in Ireland. Found a pretty set on sale (but still more than I've ever paid for mugs), paid the additional $20 shipping fee. Told myself a splurge was okay for my mugs made in Ireland.
Got them, the box has a sticker "Made in PRC". Sent email to Belleek asking them to be less deceptive in their product information, because Bellek's product description of these mugs, and Belleek's website never even hinted some of their wares weren't made in Ireland. Their email reply thanked me for my "feedback" and affirmed that yes, some of their line is "Made in PRC".
I kept the mugs, they are pretty, & it would be a hassle to return, but I wouldn't have bought them if the product description listed "Made in China (PRC)" or "Imported", like the other brands I had researched. I'm just actively trying to decrease my reliance on the mass production of nearly every household good from China, & wanted to source from other geographical locations, and I do rely on informative and accurate product description to do so.
