Marco (our concierge) has been very efficient and thorough with his follow up. Two major issues lingering since we moved in Nov 2025 about changing front door code & garbage vendor billing were resolved in two phone calls with him. We are grateful for his assistance.
I'm fed up with the lack of responsiveness.
When I moved in to a Belong home, it was not cleaned, trash was all over the garage, the heating was not working (it was December) and it took 2 months to get it fixed!
I've reported a number of issues in the move in home inspection report, not a single one received even an acknowledgement, let alone a fix without me opening an additional issue with them.
Then recently they almost doubled the liability insurance cost with 0 communication about it.
Now I've submitted another repair request and I have to go through their damn buggy AI that crashed on my multiple times, needing to redo the whole conversation on the mobile app and figure out just what kind of response it expects when asking when I'm available.
Then absolutely nothing happened for 2 weeks. Now I see I have the option to schedule a phone consultation!? What the hell? I've already given my availability and why on earth do I have to reach out again???
It doesn't work anyway. I've scheduled it (multiple times), it said an invite is on the way. It never arrived. The scheduled time has come and gone with nothing happening.
Now I've emailed them and it's the AI responding yet again...

Despite all of the issues with the townhome I moved into honestly Onela Guillen, Carlos Torres, and Federica Diez have been very helpful. I was concerned at first just because I’m not use to having to communicate with a 3rd party management company instead of directly with the owner. But they’ve been very communicative and cooperative with me as well and understanding my concerns. So very grateful to have people who are caring about making my residence and rental experience a nice one.
There was a minor accounting confusion but Tami Silks is super great and efficient to work with and got the issues answered and resolved within 24 hours. She is super efficient and very customer service oriented!
Any prospective homeowner that thinks this company is the right route let me educate you a little on their practices. We needed a shower regrouted. Belong quotes $2300. The man hired to do the job only charged Belong $150. We needed a front step leading to our porch replaced... literally some nails and lumber to build a 36x18 in step....Belong said almost 250 for that repair. This company will do everything to squeeze money out of the homeowners. An almost TWO THOUSAND PERCENT markup on a home repair. Do not trust these people to take care of you. Rental application process takes up to 2 weeks and ask for way more financial information than what is considered normal.

Tammy was wonderful to deal with. She was early eligible to help me get everything situated. Thank you, Tammy.

Honestly, very good service, they have handled everything as far as renovations and tenant placement excellently, and they have also worked and communicated with me every step of the way would strongly recommend this service to any property owners that don’t have the time or resources to handle all the property management and tenant placement.
Be very cautious before renting with Belong.
As part of my lease I was enrolled in Belong’s Liability Coverage Program, which they represented would handle liability-related damages.
After a water leak damage incident, Belong initially charged me out of pocket for repairs. Only after repeated follow-ups did they submit a claim. They later reimbursed only part of the repair costs, not the full amount, and even charged a project management fee for handling the repairs.
However, the affected party’s insurer (Allstate) later filed a subrogation claim for extra mitigation damages. The claim submitted through Belong’s liability program was denied by QBE, leaving me — the tenant who paid for this coverage — personally facing the claim.
I contacted Belong’s Resolutions Team and Tami Silks multiple times, but even after months of follow-ups there has been no meaningful response or resolution.
Because of this, I had to escalate the issue to the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others not to rent with Belong. They failed to take responsibility for a serious issue and left the tenant to deal with repairs and insurance claims alone.
-------------
EDIT: (Response to Belong’s Tami's comment):
Belong’s response continues to avoid responsibility and ignores the core issue — clear misrepresentation of the insurance coverage they charged tenants for every month.
The water leak incident occurred in October, yet Belong did not file the insurance claim until February. In fact, this only happened after I was pursued by Allstate through a subrogation demand letter. Until then, Belong had taken no meaningful action to process the claim.
During this entire period, Belong continued to assure that I was covered under their Resident Liability Coverage program, for which they charged a monthly fee. However, when the claim was actually needed, they shifted responsibility to the insurance carrier and stated the claim falls outside coverage.
This raises serious concerns:
Why was the claim not filed promptly in October when the incident occurred?
Why did Belong collect monthly liability coverage fees if the coverage does not protect tenants from incidents like this?
Why was the claim only filed after I was pursued by Allstate, months later?
Instead of supporting their tenant, Belong delayed the process, allowed the situation to escalate, and is now distancing itself from the insurance coverage they promoted as part of their program.
The home owner changed the management company mid-lease due to Belong's repeated failures in handling basic responsibilities. Belong failed to submit an insurance claim for several months after the issue arose in October 2025, did not communicate any updates or share relevant details with AllState, and kept me completely in the dark until I received a subordination letter from AllState directly.
Despite this clear pattern of mismanagement, Belong is refusing to take any responsibility — citing the lease transfer to another management company as justification. This is disingenuous. The issue originated and should have been fully resolved under Belong's watch. They took no meaningful action for nearly four months, leaving the matter unresolved until March 2026.
Belong's refusal to acknowledge accountability — simply because the lease has since moved on — is another attempt to evade responsibility for their own negligence.
As the tenant, I am left bearing the consequences of failures that are entirely of their making.

They were attentive to my needs and worked with us. They responded promptly
Inspection was great, inspector inspected my property took several photos was a great guy, the only thing was we are doing work on the property and I was not informed we needed to have all utilities on, other than that it went great.
Always had a very good experience working with Mary. As she always very communicative and takes ownership of her work.
My hot water heater broke. After a few phone calls and a no show from the repair company, they had it fixed within a few days. Well done.
