Poor quality rugs poor returns policy

Poor quality rugs, cheap!!!! Ordered a 100cm rug round. Description and images and specification’s not as shown or described. Delivery service is slow took almost 3 weeks. Be careful if you want a return or changed your mind as the return will cost you almost 40% of the cost of the rug. NOT RECOMMENDED CHEAP PRODUCTS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD RETURNS POLICY. READ THE SMALL PRINT

Appalling customer service

Ordered a rug on 4th May with expected delivery within 2/3 working days, it's now 16th and I've still no rug.
Received an email to advise it would be delivered yesterday but didn't arrive. I emailed customer services who advised this was a guide date (no where in the email was the word estimated used). I was advised the rug will be delivered today and when I asked what time roughly I was told only the courier can give this information.
I have asked how I arrange to cancel the order for a refund and await a reply.
Before ordering, I urge any potential customers to read the reviews first.

Customer service is non-existent

Ordered a rug more than 2 weeks ago, it was supposed to be delivered at the start of this week but now it’s Sunday and I still don’t have a rug. Emailed them multiple times and no response whatsoever at the moment. Reading other reviews, I’m not hopeful that I will get my order soon or that it will by any good… should ah e read the reviews before ordering.

Awful service

Awful service, awful delivery process, awful product quality!

I have ordered from benuta 3 times. I am currently on the 3rd order which was completed on 17th April, with 5-6 days delivery yet it's now the 1st of May and still no delivery!

My first order was a small one and I was impressed but that's the only positive experience. With the second order, firstly their website kept crashing for several days so that you would add item to basket and then at the final stage of checkout (payment) it would say an error occurred. This kept happening and when it finally resolved, one of the items I wanted to purchase was out of stock. The other item arrived very late and is very bad quality. Basically, it's like a huge throw not a rug because it keeps moving and folding and is extremely thin. It is also printed not woven so if you clean it with a high suction vacuum cleaner, it sucks away parts of the pattern!

I thought that perhaps it's this product that's faulty, so with an open mind I went back to try again. This time to purchase a replacement for the defective product mentioned above. To do it right, I ordered samples so that I can see the product before I fully commit. Well it's now 2 weeks on the dot and no sample has arrived.

Benuta will go bankrupt if they carry on like this.

I have to admit I was a bit nervous… but thankfully all is well

I have to admit I was a bit nervous having ordered a £400 rug and then after clicking pay…having a read of all the bad reviews on here. However, much to my pleasant surprise the rug arrived after 10 days to London. It was the rug I wanted, in excellent quality and looks beautiful . Had no problems at all. I would suggest the packaging could be a bit better and perhaps use a covering over the rug to protect it in case the box was ro open during transportation.

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer service ever. They don't respond unless you force them. I wouldn't purchase a rug from this company because it is over priced, cheap items that are terrible quality. I bought a shaggy rug from them and it's the worst purchase ever. They also refuse to set up return and will ignore your emails

Not great

Not great. I ordered a rug at the end of the last year and when it came it was definitely slightly smaller than described. I then forgot that I'd ordered from here before and made another order on April 11th. I received confirmation of my order straight away which said they would notify me when the rug was dispatched, but I didn't hear anything for about 10 days. At this point I sent them a message via their contact form and received a reply the next day to apologise and with a UPS tracking link. The rug arrived a few days later. Just seems a bit odd like I would have never received it had I not chased. Rug seems to be as described.

Extreamly disappointing,
I have ordered a rug, waited extra week to be delivered came in a damaged box, was faulty and had a stain,
I am trying to arrange a return, super complicated and unpleasant experience, I do hope that i don't have to pay for return also!!
It is a mission to find an email to communicate with anyone also,
How companies can actuality function with this service and products...

Returns are easy?! Definitely not

Had a pretty bad experience with my first order as the colour was not what I expected and definitely not like the image.That order arrived within a week, it was packaged in a box. I raised a return for that and thought I’d try and order another one in a different colour and give them another chance. The rug arrived later than expected, the box was absolutely battered and had obviously been opened somewhere on route. The rug was very flat and cheap looking. Made in China. Not exactly what I expected. I have to raise a return again lose the £20 return fee, and fill in this complicated CN23 form. I don’t know the Custom Tarriff Number and don’t know how to find it.
I have to find away of Getting this heavy box again to a Post Office again, and hopefully I’ve folded it correctly. As if all rules are not followed a refund will not be provided. They should just send a returns form within the package to avoid the complication. They said returns are simple and easy. Definitely Not!
Won’t be placing another order! Lesson learned

poor customer service

My rug order took a long time to arrive. When it finally arrived it was damaged.. had a big black stain on it. The rug arrived in a large box and was heavy. i contacted Benuta about the issue which took them 3 days to respond. I was told I needed to return the item myself to a post office. The item was so large and heavy it was quite difficult for me to walk it to my nearest post office. I don’t drive. I contacted Benuta to ask if they could arrange collection. 3 days later I was told no as the item had to be 20kg for collection. I asked for an exception as the fault was to do with the quality of their product or I wouldn’t need to return. I was told 3 days later ‘I already replied, read the email’ . Rude. I’ve since returned the rug with great difficulty and waiting my refund. Very disappointing customer service i won’t be purchasing from this company again as a result of my experience

Good Experience overall

I placed an order for a large rug then read reviews and got concerned. The order arrived 8 days after I ordered. I received a confirmation of order placement and then an email saying it was being despatched and I would receive a follow up with the tracking number, which didn't arrive, so I had to follow up with Customer services but they got replied with the tracking details within a few hours.
The rug arrived folded in a large box, which could have been sealed a bit more securely. The product looks great and is as described.
Overall the experience was ok...but based on recent reviews it feels like I may have been a lucky one.

Customer service non existent and charge you for returns of £20

I placed an order for a charcoal grey rug, it arrived in about 7 days, the rug arrived folded in a cardboard box. The colour is not charcoal grey and looks more navy blue. I have tried to contact them, but their telephone service is non operational. I have raised a return but it will cost me £20, and I have to take the heavy box to a local post office with no means of getting there. Not happy.

UPDATE: customer service is still not responding to me about the return and the dissatisfaction about the colour of the rug.

They said they would arrange collection of the rug but that was over a week ago and I have had no further correspondence for when that collection will be. Phone lines are still switched off.

I have sent 3 emails and no response.

I will be contacting my bank for a charge back

Very annoyed …

Very annoyed… first I was waiting for order way longer than the 6-9 days. Then upon delivery I found out they sent a wrong rug… wrong dimensions, wrong form. If I’m to return it I need to pay £20 that they will take from the cost of the rug… so what’s the point!? Never again will I buy anything else from this company

Horrible at delivery and customer…

Horrible at delivery and customer service. Don't believe the 6-8 days delivery. They will lure you with discounts. Unless you're okay to deal with stress of waiting when they'll turn up to deliver or answer your message, go ahead and buy.
