The owner of the Bureau explained his requirements concerning the piece of work to be assigned in a clear matter and provided prompt replies to my questions.

I had my translation done there and received it via email, which was okay, but the registry office for which I needed it did not accept it because it looked like a copy after printing. I inquired there if they could send it to me by mail, as it was urgent and it was about my child's birth certificate, for which I needed the translation. After multiple emails, I received an email asking for my address so they could send it to me. Nothing ever arrived, and after multiple follow-up requests, I never received a response again.

I sent my birth certificate to this company over a month ago for a certified translation. The payment was completed the same week, but since then I have received no response to my emails and no proof that the translated document was ever sent.

I’m extremely disappointed by the complete lack of communication. After this experience, I looked up more about the company and found several other disturbing reviews, which only confirmed my concerns.

This company is a scam!

I would not recommend this service based on my experience. Be very cautious if you are considering using them.

I asked for a quote and got an immediate response - this was not the case with other companies. The Berlin Translate team was happy to answer any of my questions in a timely manner. The translations were done and delivered in record speed. I am very happy with the service they provided.

In mid December I requested a certified translation of some documents for the marriage office. After payment I never heard anything again and asked several times for it. Last night the translations showed up after me telling them previously in one mail that I would report them to the police. The translations are totally fine but after this whole experience I would definitely not recommend this office.

We were also cheated. No response from them after payment. I will be filing police complaint now. If someone wants to add their name to my complaint then please message me on linkedin with your details. More number of people will help us get faster action from police. Please message soon. I will already reach out to people who have commented.

Edit: I got my money back almost a month later after asking multiple times.

I contacted them via email, using the official address Info@... that I found via their website berlin-translate dot de, to request an official translation of legal documents for administrative purposes in Germany. They responded promptly and professionally, provided pricing details, and assured me that the translation would be ready in just a few days. Communication was smooth, and they seemed trustworthy. We exchanged emails, and they issued an invoice for over one hundred EUR, which I paid via wire transfer to their following account:

As soon as I sent proof of payment, they disappeared. No confirmation, no replies, no translation. I followed up multiple times via email—no response. Their website lists a phone number, but after calling repeatedly for several days, I never got an answer.

After more than a week of silence, I looked them up online and found other people reporting similar experiences. Realizing I was not going to get what I paid for, I had to hire a certified translator from the official list of recommended professionals on the French embassy's website, which cost me additional time and money.

I filed a complaint with the Berlin police, and thanks to police intervention, I was able to recover my money. However, Berlin Translate never responded or delivered any service.

Avoid them at all costs. If you need an official translation, go through certified professionals recommended by embassies or official authorities to avoid falling victim to situations like this.

SCAM. I'm joining the others and filing a police report.

What's confusing is that I had used them in the past and they were great. I have a deadline for something important tomorrow and now they've screwed me.

Scam of a company! CAREFUL DO NOT USE!

I had a very similar experience with the rest of people here. I have already filed a criminal case against them. I have also contacted the server provider Ionos, so that they can shutdown the operation. I will likely not see the money I paid them but I want them to stop scamming other people

[UPDATE] I am seeing that a lot of people are still getting scammed. Upon filing a complain against Florian Ravaux (www[dot]polizei[dot]hessen[dot]de/service/onlinewache/) , I informed Florian by submitting the document in his webpage that a case was filed already. Promptly after, he responded and gave the translated document. I demanded a refund, which he compiled. The case was transferred to Berlin as the crime was technically done there. I wanted to push through with the case so they can investigate on it and prevent future fraud. However, they dismissed the case as I am the only one then filing a complaint. For those that are still about to file, please give the reference number of my case 0404 1817 1635 so that they can establish pattern of deception and fraud.

Scam. Took money, and stopped responding to emails and providing promised service.

This account is a fraud/scam! They request money up front and disappear. DO NOT USE THEM. Terrible people.

Fast, well done, not as expensive as some others.

SCAM Allert!!!

My husband and I needed a notarised birth certificate translation. After paying the fee, we have received a non certified translation per email with a promise that a notarised translation was sent per post. That was two weeks ago! The company doesn’t react on emails and has not provided a tracking number or any proof of sending the document.

Ordered a translation Thai->German, delivered on 14.09.2023. No payment until today, 04.01.2024! Not trustworthy!

I've ordered a translation French - German, I paid 106 euro and I was supposed to get the scan per email in 1-3 working days and then the translation in paper version per post.
Unfortunately after I've sent the money I never heard back from them, I've sent many emails, I've called the phone number.
I really needed the translation and they made me waist a lot of time, not only money.

Unfortunately I also fell into this scamming website.
Please stay away from them. This is not a legitimate service.

I am starting legal actions to notify the authorities about this daylight scam.

I sent a translation request to translate some personal documents from Russian to German. I was asked to pay in advance, and was sent an invoice of EUR 226,10, which I paid by bank transfer immediately on 25.10.2023.

After that I have not heard a single word back from them till now. I sent several emails asking for a simple update. I also tried calling the phone number listed on the website (030-99404816 ), but not able to get any contact.

I also tried contacting the website owner "Florian Ravaux" on his XING and LinkedIn profiles, but so far no success.
