I can honestly say last year's party was the most expensive I've been to and easily the worst £7.50 for a small bottle of Stella, so far away from the stage could see it properly and as for the food , ive had better in hospital. Most people left before half 10 . Dreadful i wouldn't go again if it was free. This was the Nottingham one
BULLYING TACTICS, BEWARE!
Me and my boyfriend were unable to attend a xmas party that friend booked. We understood even though it was more than 6 weeks notice that we would lose the deposits, however the company tried to claim that they were entitled to not only the full cost but also 50% of "anticipated spend". When we pushed back through friend they eventually started to threaten his booking of 20 or so people which is obviously designed to make people give in. I highlighted that no matter what their terms state this is not lawful and that cancelling would incur them more potential costs as people had booked hotel rooms etc. Their behavior overall was despicable and made people worried. They had no claim to request more money, I can see how the score is so low for this company, beware as they are owned by "Eventist Group". Don't give in as your legal rights over rule their "terms".
Charged extortionate prices for tickets, promising certain things as part of the package (canapes, midnight snacks) - did not deliver on these expectations, so effectively a scam. Completely ignored my email, so 0/5 for customer service too!
Please don’t waste your money booking with this company. We arrived at Knowsley Safari Park on Saturday 20th December for an all inclusive night. At 9pm they had run out of Prosecco then by 10pm one of the girls had gone to the bar for a bottle of bud only to be told there was none. We complained to the Manager who to be fair was extremely frustrated advising the company knew how many they were catering for and this should not have been the case. The food also left a lot to be desired with a small plate of cakes between 12 of us. I have written twice and no response. My friends have also written and phoned but this company has no morales and cannot be bothered to reply.
We attended Best Parties Ever at Thorpe Park on 6 December 2025 for our company Christmas party. This event was shockingly bad and raised serious safety concerns.
The venue was run-down, much smaller than expected, and nowhere near the standard of previous events. Dinner wasn’t served until after 9:30pm, which is unacceptable.
Most concerning was a serious safety incident. A member of our staff slipped on wet, mossy decking in the smoking area (which multiple guests were slipping on), hit her head, and later lost consciousness at the exit. Despite this, on-site medical staff dismissed her condition as intoxication and advised us to take her home rather than call an ambulance. This advice was dangerously wrong — she was later taken to hospital by ambulance and diagnosed with significant concussion. Hospital staff were shocked she hadn’t been referred immediately.
To make matters worse, a staff member was aggressive and threatening towards us while we were trying to assist her after the fall.
I raised a formal complaint following the event. It took nearly two months to receive a response, and that response contained no apology, no investigation findings, and no explanation of remedial actions. The only thing provided was an attached incident report that had been completed by me on the night.
Overall: poor event quality, unsafe venue conditions, unacceptable medical mismanagement, unprofessional staff behaviour, and an extremely disappointing complaints process. This experience put our staff at real risk and fell far below the standard we had previously experienced.
The only thing that was good was the entertainment
Didn't meet dietary needs, foodcwas cold,Rude staff, no water on table, no canapés offered.
No communication when emailed company to inform of poor standard.
Went to party at Willows Farm St Albans, food good, show ok, but the music played was shocking. We tried to request some different tunes, but was told play list was already set! I said "read the dance floor" as nobody was dancing! Spoilt our evening as spent most of the night sat at the table! ANOTHER DJ PLEASE!!!5
Attended Best Parties Ever in St Albans with my work team, and wow—what an incredible night! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was absolutely magical, with stunning décor, amazing entertainment, and a truly festive vibe.
The food was delicious, and the drinks flowed all night. The staff were friendly, professional, and kept everything running smoothly. The entertainment was top-tier—dancers, live performances, and a DJ that had everyone on the dance floor until the very end!
It was the perfect mix of sophistication and fun, and our whole group is still talking about it. If you're looking for a Christmas party that’s well-organized, full of energy, and just an all-around fantastic experience, I highly recommend Best Parties Ever. Can’t wait for next year!

12 family members attended a Christmas party at Knowsley Safari Park.
We purchased the all inclusive wristbands which where well worth the money.
We had a table near the stage/dancefloor.. It was Paris theme so had the Eiffel Tower over the stage and Arc de Triomphe as you entered the marquee!!
It looked amazing!
There was plenty of staff to ask where the toilets where etc
The food started to be served and it was run like clockwork, the staff where very quick, but nice and polite... God knows how they navigated through all of those party people dancing about...I think there was about 700 of us.... But they did!
The food was hot and surprisingly very tasty.
The entertainment was fab, our favourite was the guy and girl on skates, he was spinning round by her neck, they also did aerial acrobatics'
Once the disco started we danced the night away, sang, laughed and even had a go on the bumper cars and silent disco.
We all left happy, a bit worse for wear with sore feet from dancing all night!!
The rest of the family want to come next year... Will need 2 tables of 12!!

Had our work Christmas do in Nottingham just before Christmas. Such a brilliant night for us all to celebrate together just before the Christmas break.
There were just under 30 of us and we opted for the premium wristband package which took the worry of extra costs for our group out of the occasion. Only thing I wish I could change is that we found the cocktail menu earlier in the night! (We'll know for next time)
The night included a three course meal with circus themed entertainment. There was an acrobat who swung by her hair from the ceiling at one point which was something I'd only ever seen on TikTok before! Dinner was good and the waitress was very considerate and assuring to a member of our group who has a nut allergy.
Spent the rest of the night dancing off the food, playing on the casino, and drinking 'til our hearts content! Had such a great night we agreed when we came back to work in January that we'd do it again this year. Looking forward to it already.

CS Cleaning (MK) Ltd had an awesome Christmas party at Willen Lake through BestParties, would definitely recommend using them, they were very helpful, a pleasure to communicate with and made the process simple. Thank you

Just simply the best Christmas party that we've had is the feedback I had from my team. 35 people had the best event ever after such a busy year at St James Hotel, looking to book again once we know the theme and location as its going to be hard to better last years event. Food, service, entertainment just simply brilliant. The bacon sandwiches at the end of the night just a fab idea. Oh and the doughnut wall, oh and the dodgems, you get it, the event was just one to remember. Bring on next year :)

First day back in the office and all we can talk about is how amazing our experience was this Christmas at Windsor Racecourse! We did expect a good night but this night was great! The show was like what you'd see at a circus with dancers and fireworks, the DJ was fantastic, approchable and polite and played a great set till the early hours ( even played our request with a dedication to our team !). The food was tasty and the bar was busy (at times), only downside was having to leave. Memorable for all the right reasons, will definitely be back!!

Had a brilliant time at Windsor Racecourse last night. Fantastic atmosphere, great food and staffed by friendly, helpful people. Feet now very sore after loads of dancing to great tunes. Entertainment was super sparkly fun.

The reason we chose best parties 3 years running is to hold an exclusive party in Milton Keynes for my colleagues. The party has great entertainment and the team really make you feel welcome. Good size dance floor and the food is not bad considering the amount of people they have to cater for. My only gripe is the cocktail menu is not great with only offering 2 drinks - Passion Fruit Martini and Espresso Martini, not a lot of people like Espresso Martini's so maybe for next year offer a longer drink like WooWoo or Sex on the Beach. Overall a great party.

We attended the Bristol Paintworks event on Sunday 15th December. I would say the event was OK but I felt it was worse because it was miss sold. It suggested there would be extravagant circus acts and entertainment, but there was a singer and 2 ‘acrobats’ in a small area which we could not be seen from our table. There was a music quiz which lasted about 5 minutes. The tables were all squashed into the space. The food was pretty good. The ‘casino’ was one card table squashed to the side. There was a silent auction which ranged from £500 to several thousand pounds.
We went for the premium wristbands which were £75 each to have the choice of all drinks. There were a limited choice of cocktails which were on tap. The spirits were watered down. They served non premium spirits even though we had premium wristbands. They would not serve us shots or doubles due to council restrictions. I’m not sure if that was true.
Most people left early which says it all.
The Best Parties team made sure our corporate party went without a hitch.
From the booking stage right up to us leaving at the bitter end of the party, every member of staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The team went above and beyond to make sure our party goers had everything they needed and could relax and just enjoy the show.
Thank you so much and we will be back for 2025!

Went to Thorpe park. Doesn’t look like what it does in the pictures, food cold, wouldn’t give tap water and had to spend £5 to buy bottled water, random music and DJ wouldn’t take requests, poorly organised. Disappointed.
Sub-Optimal. We went to the event at Bristol Paintworks. The event was small with no, or very limited parking. The event bared very little resemblance to the websites claims with an entrance through a flap in an awning and tightly packed tables and chairs.
The acts were appalling - two 'artists' that would be more suited to adult entertainment made me very uncomfortable as the host.
The food - Bread was passed to us on a tray, we had no side plates. The main course was curious, red cabbage tasted like it was straight out of a jar and ice cold. The 'pudding' was a miniature mince pie and piece of chocolate.
The 'Monaco Grand Prix' zone consisted of a projector in the dining room on a loop...
Drinks started at £7.50 for a bottle of beer and the clear intention of the night was to 'make it profitable'. The silent auction was hilarious, tat available for a minimum reserve of £695. I couldn't find the casino...
The DJ was good and my guests had a great time - but I could have found better, with far superior food, for half the price.
Our “Best Parties Ever” experience at Thorpe Park last night consisted of being held in the Thorpe Park Dome (essentially a large foyer) for 2 hours, only to be sent home £2,198.48 worse off (£680 of which was due to taxi fares to/from the venue).
Upon arrival at Thorpe Park just after 7.00pm, the wind (Storm Darragh) was incredibly powerful. We went through security and into the Dome, expecting to head through to the marquee where the event was taking place.
When we went into the Dome, the exit doors were shut and a large crowd was building. We assumed that the doors would be opening any minute, so waited along with the rest of the guests. Within a few minutes, there was a rumour going around that the party was going to be cancelled. I hasten to add that there was absolutely no communication from the staff/security on site.
Evidently some people had made it into the marquee before we arrived, because a large number of people entered the Dome via the exit doors. They were soon followed by bar staff, carrying bottles of cheap prosecco and glasses. By this point, there were 300-400 people waiting in the Dome with ONE disabled toilet between us. There was nowhere to sit and no heating.
Prosecco was dished out. None of the drinks staff knew what was happening, but I managed to track down a couple of the organisers. One was a lady wearing a gilet who was constantly on her phone – she gave me the bare minimum information and was not overly helpful. She said that we would have news by 7.45pm, as they were taking wind readings every 15 minutes. If the gusts were 45mph or more, we were not allowed in.
I went back and fed this information back to my group (I paid for 12 people plus drinks packages – total £1,518.48). We waited patiently until around 8.00pm, as no announcements had been made.
I tracked down the lady in the gilet again (I don’t know her name). Her and a colleague proceeded to admit to me that they had been having issues with the wind ALL DAY when setting up, meaning that they had to evacuate multiple times. This begs the question – why was the event not cancelled? They said to keep waiting and there would be announcements.
At around 8.30pm, we were suddenly told that we were all clear to go into the marquee. Within 2 minutes of sitting down, we were told to evacuate again. We got sent back to the Dome, where additional toilets were finally open, and stood waiting for news.
At 8.45pm, I made the decision to call the taxi company who advised that they could pick us up in 30 minutes. We booked a restaurant in Guildford, as we needed to eat and two of our group (along with multiple other guests in the Dome) were completely paralytic due to drinking prosecco and having been given NO FOOD. Like the rest of us, they had been expecting a 3 course meal so didn’t eat too much during the day.
We asked about a refund and were told to call in on Monday – there was absolutely no apology or assurance that things would be put right.
Before our taxis had arrived, we were being pressured to leave the Dome (even though no announcement had been made that the event was cancelled). The security staff were very pushy and I had to persuade one of them to let me wait behind for a female member of staff who had gone to the toilet. I have heard reports of a member of security beating up one of the guests – I didn’t see this, however due to the nature in which we were TOLD (not asked) to leave, it doesn’t surprise me to hear of a fight.
I am not blaming Best Parties Ever for the weather, but the way in which things were handled was appalling.
This was literally the worst party experience of my life and, having used Best Parties Ever several times, there is absolutely no way that I would ever use them again.
In summary: -
1. The organisers knew all day that there were issues with the wind speed, but didn’t cancel the event (many other events were cancelled that day).
2. Having one toilet between 300-400 people for 1.5 hours clearly breaks all health and safety rules.
3. The communication to the guests was virtually non-existent.
4. Security was heavy-handed and we were not given time to make arrangements to be picked up from the venue.
5. Overall, it feels to me that Best Parties Ever put banking the cash from our tickets ahead of our health and safety.
A copy of this review has been sent to the CEO of Eventist Group (Tim Stevens).
I expect a full investigation to take place and for all guests to be refunded/compensated for the cost of their travel to the event.
