0 stars, as they advertise restaurants on their website that are actually not members, so do remember to check when you book your table, do not wait till you are paying the bill.
The restaurant Silk Road in Rotorua NZ is still on their website, despite the restaurant claims they didn't sign up for it - don't go there, the food was terrible and for the fine price of $75 per person.

When I asked the Best Gift Group
(bestrestaurant.nz)for a refund, they kept promising they would make a refund, now 3 months after that still hasn't happened. They give you a polite answer, and then they just stall. So even after the last reply where they said the money would be on my account after 3-5 business days, there is still nothing.

I will definitely recommend NOT buying their giftcards, as it's money out the window and I'm sure that is not the intention of the gift.

This was an appalling experience

This was an appalling experience. I ordered a gift card for my Brother's 60th. The website appeared to go wrong at the point of order and I got charged an admin fee but card was not included. The admin fee has come out of my account. The company will not answer any of my emails and their gift tracker says my order number does not exist.
Completely ruined the suprise as I had to check with my brother if he had received the voucher via email.
How hard is it to supply and evoucher, take your business elsewhere.

Misleading and unreliable; promise of a bonus not kept

On 2 Dec 2024 (Cyber Monday), the website included Society Restaurant Melbourne as a participant, and that as it was Cyber Monday, a bonus voucher would be given with the purchase of a gift voucher. I purchased a $450 gift dining voucher because of this. I have now been told by Society that they are not a participant. Also, the $80 bonus voucher has not turned up. They have also not bothered to respond to my emails.
