Good marketing but OVERPRICED services

Good marketing but OVERPRICED services, false advertising. website states treatments from 70chf/month. isn't true, most simple treatments there cost around 1000chf/month.
First appointment free but I had to pay total of 200chf just for some consultation and to figure out that my fast treatment would cost me over 6k for 6 months?! You can get Invisalign much cheaper in normal dental practices, plus my correction isn't really that big either.
Never coming back, total scam.

The first consultation appointment is indeed free. At this appointment, a 3D scan is made and, if interested, a treatment plan worth CHF 100 is created, which is discussed at a second appointment. However, the treatment plan is only drawn up with the customer's consent. If you decide in favour of the treatment, the CHF 100 will be deducted from the total cost of the treatment. If you do not have a current panoramic X-ray, we can take one for an additional CHF 150.

Since 1 November 2023, we have been offering the following two options for instalment payments with our partner MF Health:

Interest-free instalments: the treatment must be paid off in 6 or 12 months.

Maximum flexibility: You will receive a monthly invoice from MF Health for the minimum amount of two per cent of the outstanding balance. One per cent interest is charged on the outstanding balance.

With the second option, however, you can decide how extended the payment period is. However, the minimum amount should be paid as usual.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. They postpone my appointments since months, I didn’t reach any result and they don’t have any solution, apart from keeping wearing this stupid plastic thing forever.
And of course, they can’t refund even thought they failed to provide basic service + I am far off from the results promised.

In the dental sector, there is no 100 % guarantee that the final result of a treatment will be achieved. Our guarantee only refers to the provision of additional free aligner splints until a result of at least 90 % is achieved. However, this only applies as long as a further improvement in the position of the teeth can be achieved from a medical point of view. All our patients are informed of this before the start of treatment.

Of course, we understand and recognise that the extended treatment period can be inconvenient and frustrating, but this risk exists with every dental treatment. In some cases, appointments may have to be postponed at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances. However, I understand that this can be frustrating and annoying.

Our customers' satisfaction is our top priority and we do our utmost to achieve this. It is important to note that dental treatments are fraught with uncertainties. We have already successfully realised the smile of their dreams for thousands of customers.

All sales proimises with no positive result

I was informed recently, after starting my daughter's treatment with Bestsmile, that none of their sales team pushing the sale of the treatment are qualified dentists or orthodontists (they address and parade themselves orthodontists on their emails and in person). I was informed that the staff treating the clients only hold a diploma and a cantonal work permit. How could this level of staff possibly have the expertise to align and correct teeth and sell an alignment product without understanding complicated dentistry and procedures? (They advertise themselves as Orthodontists on google if you search),
In my opinion and more importantly, noted professional opinions; Bestsmile sells substandard aligning products, administered by unqualified amateurs. We felt under duress in our first meeting at the shop, as the sales girls pushed the contract under our nose within the first 5 minutes of the meeting, wanting us to sign immediately. My daughter has had the treatment for a 6 month period, wearing the retainers and bands for 23 hours a day at vast cost and all that the aligners have achieved has been pushing the "show-5" top teeth marginally closer, but not fixing the overbite that they led us to mistakenly believe they would fix. In my opinion, this is misrepresentation on Bestsmile's behalf. I have had subsequent opinions from qualified orthodontists, who confirm that Bestsmile is a waste of money (and time) and they ultimately do damage to the teeth positioning, since the staff lack professional expertise.
In my opinion, Bestsmile is a SCAM and should take full responsibility for this disaster by refunding us. However, they have refused to and make excuses hiding behind their finance company to distance themselves from their shortcomings in the treatment, leaving the clients to battle it out with the finance company for a refund - which does not happen. We will start a new treatment plan with a qualified professional dentist (with a Dental Degree) and also a substantial professional aligning product and treatment plan to straighten her teeth and address the overbite. This means we pay double now due to no refund! I have been informed that the company is now going bankrupt. I am surprised Switzerland would allow such a company to operate.

I don’t really understand the way of…

I don’t really understand the way of functioning their services. I had an appointment today and it was said in an invitation it is for free. However there was no particular conversation besides taking a picture of my face for your usage, scan of my mouth and on the second meeting I have to cover 100chf for treatment plan with I can’t even use any further as you have refused monthly payments (i mean who is having 5700chf in the pocket to cover treatment straight away!). Besides in an invitation i got 500 chf discount with is actually not relevant as they said i have to sign contract in 1 day as it is valid only until tomorrow (again who decides for such expences in one day). As a contrast, i had no such a problem in Hair& Skin, where I am doing treatments since 3 months. I thought you would have the same standards, why would you bother people to come for second appointment if you already knew, the treatment is not possible for them. To all people reading this, please be aware of that.

An initial assessment of the position of your teeth is carried out. If a contract is signed, these costs will be deducted accordingly. If you are unable to undergo treatment after receiving and viewing the treatment plan, the costs incurred will of course be refunded to you.

The promotions we offer are limited in time, which is why we inform customers in full when they sign the contract. The discount can no longer be guaranteed retrospectively. Minimum payment/ month

1. Service & Attention
I was at the Praxis in Enge. I saw my dentist 4 times in the whole procedure. And when I saw them they didn’t take enough time for me. I felt like they were under pressure or that I was not worth their time. Maximum 15 min for one appointment and the dentist would run from the room. But in Bellevue there is an awesome dentist with red hair ! I’d recommend her for anyone!!
2. MF Payment method
By signing they made me sign without giving me time to read the contract at all but I made sure of that 0% interest policy since it was lacking in my contract. I had to contact MF health for that! Also best smile told me about the minimum payment is 50 / month. But in the contract of MF it says that they can change the min amount anytime ! I missed that and assumed it also to be a special agreement between bestsmile and MF health. But this wasn’t. As I complained that I cannot pay from 50/ month to 200
/ month (which is 400%) they didn’t care and told me that it’s not their fault. And told me to deal with MF health. As a customer of Bestsmile I was very disappointed that they didn’t care about this huge price increase and I only signed the stupid contract with MF because of the trust I had in Bestsmile.
At least now they should take down the prices on the website saying 70-100 Franks / month ! Because the prices have gone up crazily !!

I was not happy the result at all.

I was not happy the result at all.
No improvement. Just wasting time and money. After finished my aligners. I decided to have retainer this one made of metal coz I have enough this aligners plastic it costs 500chf
They did check me up and after. They gave Me an appointment after 3 weeks.after 3 weeks it sucks the appointment was cancelled 3 times. Time pass until they told me that the retainer is already there. Me excited Finally I got this.
And when they check out my Teeth he told me no space. What the heck .I was so disappointed. They check it at the beginning was another dentist. He said all ok. And now they told me they can't do it.my goodness just wasting my time and money. I paid already 500chf. They did not gave me the money back instead they gave me another aligners after 1 week. It was so unprofessional they have let me wait around 40 minutes just to give me the aligners.
Never again .I warn you all just never go to best smile .on my experience just wasting money and ⏲️.

I would also like to explain to you that there is no guarantee for the duration of treatment anyway. As your treatment has not yet been completed, the result has not yet been determined, so the guarantee cannot be invoked.

We also offer our customers different dentists in the respective practices. This can reduce the waiting time for a new appointment. Of course, we will provide the same dentist at the request of the customer.

Disappointment

Before wasting money read this:

Service Process:
0. Initially, you will have a teeth/jaw scan + treatment creation + consultation, which costs 100.-. Be aware that the payment creates a psychological commitment (a psychology trick and too bad i fell for it : ) )

1. They will show you your current dental state (per scan) and the expected outcome after treatment. If you agree, you'll sign a contract. Be cautious about a specific contract clause. If the end result meets 90% of the promised model, BestSmile considers their job done. BestSmile's assessment of meeting the 90% goal lacks clear criteria, leaving the decision in the hands of their dentist, which can be subjective and unclear.

2. The actual dental treatment is performed.

3. Follow-up Scan: After about X months (in my case 8 months), they perform another teeth scan to roughly show you the end result. This scan they won't give it to you for free, it costs 100.- (in case you want to do another treatment, which could cost me another 750.-. )

4. THeir dentist will tell you something in the sense of "the goal is met, we are done, no objection". (90 % of the targets are considered met, though there are no specific numerical criteria to quantify this. It is up to their own dentists to determine whether this 90% threshold has been achieved. However, what is the basis for this decision? Gut feeling?). I remember objecting that it had met 90%, then my dentist became more temperamental and vehement, speaking in a condescending manner and treating me like an ignorant person, not entitled to an opinion. That's also why I say the dentists there are only superficially friendly; as soon as we express an opinion contrary to theirs, their true colors show

My Personal Experience:
I was dissatisfied with my end result, and it didn't meet the agreed-upon goal (not even close to 90%). However, BestSmile claimed otherwise and refused to provide me with the end result scan for evidence without an additional 100.- payment, despite having the scan.

My dentist's changed once, possibly due to a work-related absence. However, my overall impression of the dentists at the clinic is that they are friendly on the surface but tend to prioritize quick procedures. If you inquire about something or seek clarification, they can become slightly irritable, possibly due to their heavy workload and stress.

Conclusion:
If you're considering BestSmile treatment, here's what you should be prepared for:

Initial Cost: Be ready to pay 100.- upfront, but don't let this pressure you into proceeding blindly.

90% Fulfillment Clause: Understand that the 90% fulfillment condition lacks transparency, and the final decision rests with their dentist.

End Result Scan: If you wish to see your end result scan or use it as evidence for other dentists, be prepared to pay an extra 100.-.

I don't normally post reviews online. For me to go to the extent of writing this much, you can imagine just how terrible I felt. I hope you all are well prepared for this.

A 100% realization of the result is not guaranteed with a dental treatment with us. Our customers are fully informed of this at the appointment to discuss the treatment plan. However, as you have already mentioned, we guarantee a 90% success rate for treatment. The guarantee conditions can also be viewed and seen by everyone when the order is listed and on our homepage. The result is then discussed with the respective customer on site at the final check-up appointment by comparing the treatment plan. If the customer is not satisfied with the final result, a new scan is carried out, which is then assessed accordingly by our medical team. They will rob your money!

I want to warn EVERYONE about this company. I had an appointment there and already 10min after my appointment had started I had a contract in my email. 1h later a message that my aligners are being produced and an invoice of nearly 5000CHF!!! And they now claim that I have placed an order for aligners and have to pay 1600CHF if I decide not to! And I have NEVER signed anything!! I was shown documents in German but I never signed anything!! I have contacted them but they claim that it’s not possible that they’ve done anything wrong here or that this was a misunderstanding due to language barrier. And they insist that I pay though I contacted them on the 2nd working day after my appointment explaining that I have never plaved an order - not knowingly at least as I haven’t signed anything! Be careful!! They will scam you and take your money! I will sort this out with my lawyer!

Before a treatment is ordered, there is a consultation appointment, where we inform our clients about the treatment process and advise them accordingly.

If no treatment is desired at that time, we of course do not move forward with a contract. However, if interest is expressed for a treatment, we inform you about the contract, as well as explain the contents of it and send this to you by email. You are certainly free to review the contract and move forward with a treatment at a later date. This is up to you. In addition, there are two steps before a treatment can be started. Firstly, a treatment has to be ordered definitely. After this, you get to choose your desired payment method. For this, you have to follow the instructions in the email. We unfortunately cannot comprehend how both these steps were bypassed without indication of any ambiguity.

Once these steps have been completed and a treatment ordered. Our production team is informed. Should you not want to proceed with a treatment, we will of course respect your decision. For this, you will be charged the costs for a contract cancellation. Please feel free to contact us over the support button on our website, if there is any way we can assist you.

Not real dentists. Worst experience ever

Because of their lack of professionalism and qualified staff my treatment had to be terminated prematurely causing permanent damaged to a tooth. They even had to refer me to a REAL dentist to fix the issue!!!
Worst experience ever!
I cannot understand how in a country like Switzerland, this company is able to operate.

This is totally a scam

This is totally a scam.
Personal not professional. Even when they could not do a treatment because my gum was not healthy enough, they want to charge me third of the treatment. I am still receiving their bills.They are a scammer. i do not recommend. Escape! You will save your time and energy!

Before a treatment is planed our dentist team looks into the health of your teeth as well as your gums during a free first consultation and creates a report of their findings. This way we can determine wether a treatment would be suitable in your case. After this a treatment plan is ordered and once you decide to move forward with the treatment your aligners are ordered and the production is started. Should you not want to proceed with the treatment we will have to charge you for one third of the cost of it, as an order has already been placed. Should a treatment not be suitable, we will of course inform you accordingly and advise you about the necessary precautions or refer you to your family dentist.

Sneaky with contracts - watch out

For the treatment itself, I had quite a positive experience - good results, nice interactions with the people in the office in Basel.

However, I am disappointed to say that my experience with this company soured at the end. I was interested in the wire retainers for both my jaws and signed an agreement that was worded for the upper and lower jaw as one line item. I was later informed that I was unsuitable for the upper jaw - which was unfortunate. As a result the lower jaw was not of interest to me. The customer service team proceeded to seek to charge me for a 1/3 of the treatment - despite not being able to get what I had signed for per the contract wording and for no service being provided by them. I was surprised that a company would be so sneaky.

Additionally, during my 6 months of treatment I had 3 different dentists so it is also clear that they must not treat their employees very well either.

However we regret to read that your experience with us soured a bit in the end. It is really unfortunate that the wire retainer could not be fixed in your upper jaw.

Since we cannot place the wire retainer, the costs for this will of course not be charged to you. Yet because two retainers were ordered as per your contract and the wire retainer certainly can be placed in your lower jaw, we will offer this service to you. If you wish not to have the lower jaw retainer, we will have to charge you one third of the costs, as this is a cancellation.

Regarding the alternation of your dentists, we would like to emphasize that it is important to us that our clients do not have to wait long for available appointments. For this reason, we schedule appointments with different dentists. This way if there is a dentist is absent or attending to another client we can still make sure that you we attend to your needs in a timely manner.

It was certainly not our aim to make you think we treat our employees badly.

I had a very positive experience. I had Invisalign before this one and the job was still not done as supposed. They gave me all the informations needed and I decided to start again with them. Till now I am very happy.

Bad service

They cancelled my 2. appointment 10minutes before it should have been and as i almost reached the store. After that they didnt link me up for several months. At the end they sent me a bill 100.- which i had to pay!

In your case we find it very unfortunate that your second appointment was cancelled last minute and would like to sincerely apologize to you for this. We did try to contact you several times after this but were unsuccessful.

After the free first consulation and in agreement with the customer a treatment plan is created by our dental technicians, which shows the course of the treatment as well as the potential endresult. This is what the second appointment is about. The cost for this is CHF 100.- and will be deducted from the total costs of your treatment, if you decide to move forward with it. In your case a treatment plan was created but we unfortunately could not get a hold of you anymore.

They give me a promise to correct my…

They give me a promise to correct my teeth and I paid more than 3500 fr and at the end I didn't see any postive result and I will see what is goen happen at the end. I am now at the last step. Don't West ur money for nothing.

Rude and Ignorant Dental Assistant

After i started with the treatment, each visit i made look like a fool and very uncomfortable.
Every time when it came to taking control pictures, i would be asked to fully smile. The problem is, since i had bells palsy twice in my life in the same side, that is not possible, as there are limitations on how far i can open that side of the mouth.Again today i told the assistant twice about that, instead of showing empathy she argued with me.
As a result i got very angry and stormed out. A place like this should have employees that know what bell's palsy is, know what one can and can't do with their mouth recovering from it and show empathy rather than ignorance and rudeness. I will not go back and would not recommend their service.
Because of my bad experience I had with their Service, not once but 3 times, everytime in the past, when I went there to control the veneers, this kind of unacceptable behavior happens and I no longer accept nor do I tolerate it!
