The service was fine. The product was not.
What was adverstised was a lacefront Outre melted hairline unit. What was received was a 2" x 4" plastic cap unit.

The reviews must've been copied from somewhere else, and site looks like the customer is purchasing from a supply house in Culver City, CA but instead it came from China directly, and three weeks later, I got it.

The refund that is mentioned on the site is not as cut and dry as it appears. On the front page, they mention a generous 30-day return policy. Under the refund section, it's 14 days from the time of delivery, and the criteria is stricter.

I'd ship it back, but the cost of the energy and money are more than the wig is worth and of course, they know that. Oh yeah, they got me, but they won't get me again, and I'm spreading the word.

This company is a scam. Bought my wig through a Facebook ad, the wig looks nothing like the Facebook ad. They even sent a burgundy instead of black, part in the middle instead of side part and it’s cheap looking. The scammers will not respond to me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM!

Wow, I cannot believe this bogus company is still allowed to scam people on Facebook. It should be zero stars. Buyers BEWARE!!! The wig they sent me looked nothing like what they advertised. They're using those pictures from the real site. Not theirs.

If I could give no stars I would!!! 🤬🤬🤬 this company is not legit and only steals from you. I ordered my wig and never got it. Finally called because I could not track it and when I went to pick up the postal service said that my address was complicated(don’t know what the heel they were talking about). Anywho they sent it back to company- mind you I never got a notification on its whereabouts so I contacted them and ask them to resend. Their mfing ass told me they don’t do redelivery so I told them can I get a credit and I’ll just order it again. They said my only option was to receive on half of what I paid and then told me that I had 5 days to give them an answer. I was livid!!!! I was like what do you mean. Why can’t you resend. I told them I’d pay for reshaping but they just wanted to just give me half my money back and that was it. I told them that their company wasn’t sh$t and it was thievery with what they was doing. They then told me how many more days I had left to respond before I got no return back at all. I hate them and hope their company burns to the ground. I don’t like wasting my money of folks stealing it but they did. NEVER SHOP FROM THEM EVER!! This is a true story! I really experienced this.

I placed an order via an ad on Facebook in early December 2021. I just received my wig last night and the wig is horrific. It’s nothing like what was advertised. I’m usually always very skeptical about ordering from companies via ads on FB but when a company has over 1k reviews it leads you to believe they are legitimate. I was clearly wrong. This company is a complete scam and anytime I see their post pop-up on my feed going forward I will warn other women not to purchase from them. Got me once, won’t get me again smh

I thought I was getting a lace front wig. What I received was horrendously horrific. Horrifying! The wig look nothing like what was advertised on the website. I had no idea it was being shipped from China. Cherry the rep tried to get me to settle for 40% refund and I keep the wig. I requested 60 she said 50. After reading you guys reviews I asked for all or nothing the full cost of the wig and they pay for the shipping. I don’t want to keep a wig I won’t wear nor will I try to sale it to someone else. I am going to report the company to Facebook and the Better Business Bureau. I am filing a complaint with my bank.

This place is a scam. The wig they were advertising on FB was nothing like they sent me. I tried contacting them for a refund but no one would respond to my email. You got me this time but you will not get me again. It is so sad that you people would just lie to get someone's money. Just have good products as you advertise and your customers will be loyal. Just remember what goes around comes around but I will report you to the BBB. People work too hard for their money to be ripped off. I should have known better to even pay for something thru Pay Pal. Yes, I said it, you all are scammers.

This is business is a scam. The wig you buy is NOT the wig you get. They need to be put out of business.

Horrible, horrible, horrible product, and this is why they prefer you pay through PayPal and not by credit card because PayPay is like cash, but you can easily get your money back through your credit card. Your credit card company will credit your account while they investigate, and companies like these don't usually offer a valid reason for their defective product, so your credit becomes permanent to your account.

Saw this "Betty Wig" while surfing FB in early September and also paid through PP like these other ladies! At nearly Thanksgiving, I have yet to receive a thing! I, like another of the ladies, checked the tracking information and it said insufficient address. I checked my address and it was perfect. I sent an email and haven't heard anything back. Praise the Lord its not more than $40 I lost.

Please guys, I beg you not to purchase from the bettywig website as they are scam. I saw there ad popup on my Facebook and seems they over 1k reviews of women showing off their wigs, so I thought the site would be a trusted one. At first I was curious to why a legitimate site with so many customers only accept PayPal but stupid me still went ahead and enter my PayPal information. Once the payment was confirmed I realized they belong to a company in China. I started investigating and found the original Betty wig website which is owned by a black American woman. They basically stole all her business information to scam people. Thankfully I was lucky to have seen the redflags and called my bank immediately to placed a dispute. Today I received a temporary credit to my account as they are refusing to reimburse my money though they haven't even shipped me anything.

I recently ordered a wig from the site.. HORRIBLE.. It took over a month to arrive and when it did " finally" arrive , I then understood why it took so long. ( It was a HOT MESS.). Do not order from Bettywig site.

Once again, this is a total scam company! Unlike some others, I actually ordered and received 3 wigs. However, what I received looks nothing like what is pictured online. AND 2 of the wigs are IDENTICAL! It is shameful.

I didn't even want to give 1 star. I agree with ladies this is scam. I ordered wig and paid through pay pal. After forever got a tracking number could not find and fake delivery update. Emailed seller which said was returned because of me for insufficient address which is lie. Told me to contact local post office before destroyed. Long story short no post office or bogus tracking could help me. Disputed with pay pal and if they don't reply to them hopefully can get money back..never again!!!

This company is a scam. I bought a wig from them in the beginning of September. I paid the expedited shipping fee. I sent an email checking the status of my package. I was told the logistics company will update the tracking information. Then I was told to wait another week. After all was said and done, I got an email stating they lost my package. I replied and have yet to get a response regarding my package or refund. Save yourself the trouble.

WARNING: do not order from this site- I NEVER RECEIVED MY WIG - I paid through paypal so thought it was legit. pay pal does not check the business licenses who sets up payments through them. Apparently any business can set up a payment- and its looks legit. The contact info on my paypal to communicate with Bettywig directly is unsecure company link for the business name name: xhenzhen qiyue Electronic Commerce co LTD, - so you cannot contact them without possibly picking up some type of virus and ruin your computer. Or the site is non existent! I lost $43 on a wig. Sorry the review does not allow me to post the fraudulant link.

SCAM!! This website stole another business’ pictures and address. I called the business that is at the address this website has listed… And they told me that this website has been using their information falsely and is a scam. Unfortunately I learned all this after spending $30 and never getting any product. Do not purchase from them they are in China and are a scam!
